AoD comes with many many changes according to the DD´s. Whether it´s easier or harder now to create an Nation, i don´t know.
To the country TAG´s: When Armageddon was released, it brought many new country TAG´s but for me, personally, I would wish a limitless ammount of TAG´s like EU 3 or other games using the Clausewitz Engine.

There will be 60 more tags (UA0 to UF9) in comparison to Armageddon; 338 in total (w/o ALI, ALS, AXI, MIN and REB).

ALS and MIN? I'm guessing ALI is Allies, AXI is Axis, and REB is Rebels...ALS is maybe Soviets? What's MIN then?
ALI is Alien Invaders, ALS is Allies and MIN is (Undefined Nation).
