I had a go at some events for ENG. I am in the process of testing them out. Will let you know of my progress - they'll include the 1802 General Election, the Return of Pitt, the Death of Pitt, the Ministry of All the Talents and the Death of Charles James Fox - that is, if they work alright - lots of triggering and so forth!

I'll try some simpler flavour ones soon

Regarding technology for artillery, you then decide whether to add them in the next version?
I hope so, otherwise the mod is not complete and does not respect the historicity.

Ok, I've tested out the events and they work pretty well - you can try them out for yourself if you so wish - and if you want to change any of the details, please do - after all, they are merely test ones. But I am pleased so far with the results. I'll create more flavour ones, But what I have done so far...

1802 General Election
The Return of Pitt
The Death of Pitt
The Ministry of All the Talents
The Death of Charles James Fox

Just to keep everybody in the loop, I've been trying and testing some events, some just flavour ones, others with a bit more of a political edge to them and so far they have been working out fine. I am still testing out, but I have...

France:
General Amnesty for the Émigrés
Consul for Life?
French Recognition of Prussian Claims in North-West Germany
The Annexation of Piedmont
The Legion d'honneur
The Bank of France Currency Reforms
The Code Napoleon
The Death of the Duke of Parma
The Annexation of the Duchy of Parma

Austria/German Minors:
The Reichsdeputationshauptschluss
The Securalisation of the Archbishopric of Salzburg
The Securalisation of the Bishopric of Würzburg
The Securalisation of the Bishopric of Cologne
The Dismissal of Cobenzl

UK:
The General Election of 1802
The Return of Pitt
The Death of Pitt (in Office)
The Death of Pitt (out of Office)
The Ministry of All the Talents
The Death of Charles James Fox (in Office)
The Death of Charles James Fox (out of Office)
The Reintroduction of Income Tax
Trooping the Colour
The Execution of Colonel Despard
The Easton Massacre
The Opening of West India Docks
The Collapse of the Ministry of All the Talents
Emmet's Insurrection

Of course, as I have said, they'll need play testing, and some are just rough place-holders for more in depth ideas, but still - you are more than welcome to take and do whatever you want to them once I've sent them to you Adonnus, I'll chuck in a few more ones I am working on.

As for the Americas, I (or someone with more patience than me) would have to remove the ID of every rebel province and sort it all out and give it to independent nations. It's possible but very tiresome.

You could convert those rebel provinces into empty ones in one go by disabling reb.inc in the eug-files and mod in one country by one without sorting out rebel provinces. At this stage of development it doesn't make any difference if those provinces are assigned to rebels or if they are empty (without owner etc.). You have access to the original scenario files of Iron Cross? You could use their province assignments as a base.

Some rebel provinces are by purpose: One province in Morocco and in Oman (Pirate Coast) to simulate pirates. I have never tested it but my intention was that rebels producing ships. Perhaps random events that create pirate ships out of nowhere could also work.

What can we expect for the next version, besides the events Kaiser Franz mentioned?

Fully functional Peninsular war and War of the Fifth Coalition (Austria vs France 1809), more complete tech tree, better navies and naval models and lastly an invasion of Russia event or two in 0.3

Found something for a ahistorical early Coalition victory in 1805.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Jerzy_Czartoryski

But Czartoryski's most striking ministerial act was a memorial written in 1805, otherwise undated, which aimed at transforming the whole map of Europe: Austria and Prussia were to divide Germany between them. Russia was to acquire the Dardanelles, the Sea of Marmora, the Bosporus with Constantinople, and Corfu. Austria was to have Bosnia, Wallachia and Ragusa. Montenegro, enlarged by Mostar and the Ionian Islands, was to form a separate state. The United Kingdom and Russia together were to maintain the equilibrium of the world. In return for their acquisitions in Germany, Austria and Prussia were to consent to the creation of an autonomous Polish state extending from Danzig (Gdańsk) to the sources of the Vistula, under the protection of Russia.

Also, after Prussia is defeated, the Grand Duchy of Wurzburg should be given to Ferdinand, also a member of the Confederation of the Rhine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Duchy_of_W%C3%BCrzburg

Founder another bug: when the war against Prussia is won, the event that grants Saxony independence, after it's annexed doesn't work.

@Paolo68 Yup!

@42mtoldi
I was thinking of having several prerequisite techs for the start of those trees so that it takes more time for non-western nations to industrialise.

Hi guys ...
I'm back from my trip to europe (by the way I was also at waterloo, exciting).
So to recap, I have images ready for sending:
Great Britain army
Austrian army

Adonnus can i send to you?

Soon I will be working on Prussia and Russia
