Introduction.
This is a thing which I really wanna see in Hoi2.A napoleon mod.No one did it,so 'll try it.

I considered doing this too. However, at this point, I don't think anyone has come up with a Map editor that is up to the task of elminating the unecessary sections of the globe. Am I right in this or have I been misinformed.

Other than that it sounds like an ideal application for the HOI system, one I dare say Paradox should support.

indoasia:i really need help with graphics.I got some flags/shields from xie.dynids(or how you spell it) and I can manage with ministers/leaders

But a starting image/victory image/scenario image is something I can't do.So you can help me!

Cueball:Well,that part is the last one.I hope I can do it...

Basicaly,ministers/leaders/tech teams will be done first.Then I'll make the map(inspiring from EU3,of course :D )and the tech tree.

Right. But what about editing the map so that it excludes everything but continental Europe, parts of Africa and everything East of the Urals. It seems to me that this would be an essential part of the mod, yes?

Also, there was a Polish team working on this a while back, I have been told, they might have done some background work you might be able to use.

BTW: Oil could become "horses". A valuable resource during this period.

do you know the name of that team?or the name of the mod?

about the horses:that's a good idea.

oh,and what's the nominal size of a minister pic?since I've got some errors.

Good idea!

I would make it the whole world, call the bit you don't want one or several large countries, with no population, infrastructure, industry or resources (a wasteland). Solves a lot of problems and will speed up development.
