After so many times of sending the wrong mech into storage after receiving my salvage I was very happy to see that we could rename mechs in the mechbay. Unfortunately, the mechs' new names don't show up on the post salvage screen so I'm right back to trying to figure out which of my orions was the failed refit experiment and which was Kevlar's death machine.

Can we please have the mechs' custom names show up on all screens?

I may be wrong, but I believe that when you send your modified 'Mech into storage, it strips all the changes you made to it - essentially turning it back into a STOCK version (with no components in it) of that variant model. So, having your new name associated to it won't do any good once you take it back out of storage.

So, if I'm guessing correctly, what you're really asking for is the ability to save and automatically refit preferred build-outs for each mech variant in the same way they do in EvE Online.

I think DarkSpade wants the mech names to show up on the little overview after the mission. The one where you decide which mech should go to storage when your mechbay has no more capacity and you got a new one from salvaging. Right?
Haven't checked it, but if they missed to include the names there, it is definitely irritating.

Correct.

Either that, or make the mech's load out show up in the tool tip. Anything to help keep me from sending the wrong mech into storage(or scrap).
