I would like to go back to being able to name bastards. I often used bastards as a backup plan in case my wife didn't give me a son, so I often named them after an ancestor or if I gave them a new name it still sounds like name a king would have. But I can't do that now because I'm often not given the option to name them, only claim them. This still the case even if my lover is known to be my lover and it gets even worse if my lover is of a different culture. This isn't a major issue, but it's unimmersive to me to have a line of French kings with French and then one random King Boleslaw.
