Name wars!

Hello i was originally inspired by another thread i misunderstood, if you wanna see that thread here is the link:

The thing i want is instead of the same boring names in wars like The Spanish conquest of Danzig it will sometimes be renamed, let me give you some examples....

The Italian Wars (Or maybe only The Italian War)

Lets say 3 great powers has land in Italy (Or any subjects) and the year is Between 1444 and 1550 and they are all 3 at war and some Italian minors is involved, and there is at-least 50k troops involved, the war will change name to The Italian war. If this happens again it will be named The 2nd Italian war, and again the 3rd the 4th and so on.

Then if you look in your history tab it will say: King John II and Bob IIXVI both fought in the Italian wars they were victorious.

Another example:

The Great Nordic War (Or is it northern???)

Can only happen once, 90% of the provinces in Scandinavia is at war with each other, Denmark can NOT have a PU with Sweden, the year is after 1675, at least 1 great power is involved or Russia, there has to be at least 50k troops on each side.

And the history tab will show: Our king Gustav took great looses while the Danish forces under general Lars took almost none.

Any suggestions to change some of this, or add more wars, is more than welcome.

You Should know if the other thread i showed you in the top of this page will come in game this suggestion will not be very valid, but looking at the comments that will probably not happen....

I don't really think this would add much to the game because you can't really look over the history, I don't see why not though.

I love the idea of more war names. But wars like "The war of Austrian Succession" and stuff are pretty historical, but conquest wars feel more like battle names, rather than entire wars. But then you come to the 7-years war, which was more of a world war and didn't last 7 years. It could get very confusing, and if you find a way to have dynamic war names, I'm sure they'd do something about it.

Surely the problem here is that wars tend to be named by historians after the event rather than at the time and this is why the game has to come up with generic, formulaic names.

If such a system does get implemented for some reason, I'd very much like to see some kind of trigger for "The War of Jenkins' Ear"

There's an event with that name, I think, which gives GB a CB on Spain, if I remember rightly.

The event exists and the war is named as such in the history files, but I don't believe the war correctly names itself if you use the CB given by the event. That's what I'd want, that little bit of flavor text.
