Yeah, but the problem is that you can't form Italy with Rome, la città eterna, as your capital city, which is kinda sad imo, maybe latium could be splitted beetween Roma and the Vatican, but it would be very anachronistic.

Province? Island? Then the East Indies region. The depiction on EU3 was horrible. Ternete is Ternate, Ambom is Ambon, Benkulen is Bengkulu. There was no province called Priangan in East Indies, it was called Galuh. Mataram's capital city should be Ngayogyakarta, or at least Yogyakarta.
But then, it's Europa Universalis. I can only hope they could do more research on the other parts of the world...

Faroe islands, Shetland islands, Bornholm, Isle of Man, Jeju, The areas making up todays Oranje-Fristat and Transvaal in South Africa (it looks really stupid when modern Zimbabwe and the inland half desert of Northern Cape is there but this fertile, inhabited area is left out) and of course more provinces, always more provinces.

The provinces of Møre and Rogaland should be added to Norway.
This would split the Norwegian west coast (and what is currently Bergenshus) into three provinces with approximately the same size (Bergenshus being the third).
The fun part is that none of the new provinces would be too small compared to the provinces around it.
The fact that the entirety of Western Norway can be taken without much effort is just odd, it becomes even weirder when you realise Bergenshus is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) of the scandinavian provinces.
It is bigger than Finnmark, which in the real world is larger than the entirety of today's Denmark.
Adding these provinces would
a) Make it harder to take the Norwegian west coast, which was essential for the Norwegian trade northwards
b) The trade in these provinces would be fish, which would make certain Norway is leading producer even if it loses the islands in the west and båhuslen (which happened historically)
c) Make Norway less of a pushover for Sweden and Denmark and a larger naval power than before, with Denmark and Sweden still being better naval and land powers due to NI

Also, if possible, make Sognefjorden twice the size. Trying to downplay the second largest fjord in the world tsk tsk.

I'd like to see more city states in italy. Would add to the diversity there I'm tired of it having only 6 OPMs

In that case, Rügen would also be justified (about the same size, much more fertile). But either go too far, too detailed. What would dagö give us that Ösel doesn't represent already?
I'd very much appreciate it if Finland got some more detailed (and accurate) provinces. For example making Kola and Österbotten a bit smaller and carving out a "Lappland" Or "Kemi" province would go ways to making the area more playable. Other than that, making those huge provinces a bit smaller and dividing them up would be nice, but probably make the area far too powerful.
As such I'll settle for an additional province in Lappland. Of course a map like this would be nice.

I've noticed in the vids that Shetland is now in the game. I'm wondering though if they've added it as a new province or if it's just going to be a part of Orkney.
It's a seperate Island province owned by Norway at the start
