Only reason i posted anything beyond the lame intro story at all is existence of far better "For Jihad; for Glory! - A Najd AAR" by ScarcticCG; with me trying to be a benchmark for him.. :)

Oh please, you flatter me:eek:o:p

I have to say, you are doing considerably better than me in terms of conquest; you're 10 years behind my save game, but have already expanded in to India! I been bogged down with nigh on constant relbellions, 10+inflation, religious tention and massive onetary problems; you, on the other hand seem to get all the luck :D.

Your English is fine, and I wouldn't have known that English was not your first language if you hadn't told me! The intro is well written, and while I personally do not enjoy narative focussed AAR's as much as gameplay orientated ones, i'm certain that somebody who has read more naratives' will agree that it's good. Also, I'll admit, this AAR did encourage me to drive for conquest in order to stay on par with the pace of your conquest. Just remember that it is, after all, ultimatly your choice if you wish to continue, and that you needn't rely on other people asking you to; it is your AAR, so do what you will with it!

Now you are the flatterer :)
Anyhow, your situation is almost exactly like my first attempt was, that gave me whole reason to restart the campaign. I have already succesfully dealed with Succession Crisis, cause having tons of vassals, i have only few non-core regions, and really low rebellion chances. Almost only rebels out of S.C. are the religious ones in Mekka & Medina, my highest reb. chances are about only 6-8%.
Also the vassals pay nice tributes AND are adding to your Land limit (my have risen from 10 to 22 now without Grand Army and with the same provinces i had after first wars) Also, they maintain they own armies which they can QUITE skillfully use to assist you and most importatly sqaush your rebellions while your armies fight abroad. Frankly, i dont think i could do half that good as im now if the vassals havent saved my ass from rebels so many times.
Simply rebelions like u have now, and general rebelmicromanagement needed are the main reason i restarted this campaing under different approach and created this thread :)
Though there were times i spent more time a day staring at map/stats or EUwiki and thinking or deciding what to do next, than actualy playing the game :)
Anyway now i have pretty much perfected my Jihaad strategy and learned quite a lot new things about DW and rules of heritage and such :)
Did you know, that chance to inherit a lesser PU member before integration are hugely dependant on relative teritory size? I certainly didnt; in previous EU3 games it was pretty much random - even manual says so.
Well, hope all had great holidays and now that im back im hoping i didnt forget my Grand Jihad Plan and can go back to it..

Lol, getting bogged down in india is no fun :)
neither are rebels at home and in Oman vassal. Inflation has reached 10% and is is beginning to skyrocket cause wars, events and rebellions demanded few loans.. Only way out i see are Tributes from Horde - and maybe Trade which need HUGE investments.. And more war tributes of course from peace deals and vassals.
Finally reached Gov 6 and can build Embassy, only to find out it costs over 500 Gold which of course i can only dream of :) I guess i seriously need to spend more time thinking about economy than war now..
If any other Jihaadist out there got better finances/economy going around 1420s, please dont be shy to indulge in some bragging here :D

P.S.
Need i mention that i have about -10 000 menpower out of +16 500 max? :)

Indian/Timurids Wars:

After i barely managed Truce by admitting defeat in India, truce is about to expire while full in war with Timurids. Mamluks and Delhi are still my lessers in PU.

Next war with India wasnt starting well, got only one beaten army there, and timurids colonization 1x failed in spite of 75+% chance, prolongi war for about a year...

Eventually with our allies we managed to finish Timurids causing them to got overrun by rebels, and destroyed enemy armies in India

After small Persia formed, i converted them to Sunni and grabbed most valuable coastal CoT :)

By 1441 my prelimenary intervention in India was over: i lost ALL my navy, but India was again multitude of small states...with some of them Vassals to most glorious Najdi Tribe :)
And also me having 2 strategical provinces in India giving me multiple Tribal Causus Belli - and allowing me to abandon Holy War national idea for National Bank :)

I think somewhere around this point my inflation peaked at about 18% - almost EXACTLY as i estimated before start.(i postulated up to 20% inflation in Jihaad campaign)
Of course now im almost another 40 years later, but got only very few screeenshots if any - TBC are easy now- worst was while inheriting Mammluks in 70s, and i already can change goverement - im just beefing up my BB for after -5 stab hit i wont be able to wage wars for many years to come... and im out of easy targets :(
I already run my budget at -0.10 to 0 % inflation rate for several years - i got quite a lot of cash from peace settlement too - i think im pretty much out of financial problems - though my rivals are far more dangerous too now - especially Castille & Ming :D
