Hi and thanks for welcoming me all.
I have just completed my first full campaign, as Germany (1.06+CORE)
It came to my attention, as I learned the game as I played, that the supply was quite an issue, isn't it.

One of many things that struck me was that I had conqured a Soviet province for some years and it had stockpiled some resources over these years (Kubl-something soutwest of Moscow).

Among other things there were 9999 resources of oil, which I wanted to get into myPanthers with lousy 50 mm guns (yes the tech tree is still not clear for me).

As it is an inland province I can't send ships into the province to get it to my homeland.

The Question
How do I benefit from these resources? The province were still Soviet, but no Red Army soldiers had thread that ashen province for some years.

I'm not really sure what the rules are for getting reasources from an occupied but not annexed province. Assuming that they are the same as for an annexed province, then you would need an uninterrupted land route to your capitol. Provinces owned by a puppet or ally break the chain back to your capitol.
For example, if you were to take the create Slovenia event after annexing Yugo, a big chunk of you territory would be cut-off from Berlin and reasources would just pile up.

Thanks for a prompt answer.

It could very well be the case you suggest. I have been a nice Adolf, at least concerning nationalities in the east. I got both Byelorussia and Ukraine up and going with the Baltic states.

So there is nothing to do then to get the resources?

Related question in the same game:
If I would set up a Convoy of rubber to my puppet France, then they don't pass it a way to me at all? Not even the percent share they send you of their own resources?

No not even a pencil eraser. You can convoy the rubber directly to Germany and the Vichy don't mind. I bet there is a huge stock pile of rubber in whatever Vichy province you were shipping it to.
On your first question, creating the puppet states eliminated the overland route to Berlin. Try to conquer an alternate land route or port someplace.

Thanks for the answer! So much for being nice with these states then. I guess a Byelurussian state visit to Berlin is coming up really soon. :D
