The warrior lodges shown in todays DD have a lot of overlap with the draconic special mechanic of duelling in my opinion.
Mabe it would be a good idea to, if you have the DLC, roll the special duell rival rules into the draconic warrior lodge and add another unique mechanic to draconic to replace it (imo they are missing an annual decision like summer fairs and blots anyway).
People without Holy Fury can then still have the current duel rival decision + the new mechanic.

The draconic lodge will probably have an additional possible mission to successfully raid a rival.

They are changing personal combat so some rebalancing will probably be required.

What I meant was that if you allow a draconic warrior lodge for those who have the DLC then you have several sources of duels which kinda takes away the uniquenes.
So my idea was that with the DLC the raid rival action becomes a special action for warrior lodge members (as warrior lodges of different faiths can have different actions as the fetish shows).
The draconic faith still has purity as unique mechanic although that is rather passive. Imo what would be nice is if there were some annual decision for draconics similar the rammadan, summer fair or blot, which somehow affects purity or takes it into account. But that would probably a lot of event writing and wouldnt be a priority compared to other parts of the game.
People without the DLC and thus less duells can keep the current raid rival decision. That shouldnt be hard to code.

As for the masks, maybe it works like with the weight gain last week where missing portraits will not cause an error. The masks seem to be african religion specific anyway and that a dragon ends up down there would be rare (but not impossible).

Because i want to play my savegame i started without Mythos 2 and want to spice it up with some dragons.
Via Console Commands maybe?

It is possible to be turned into a werewolf or vampire the regular way. You need to have a werewolf/vampire as wive/friend or as liege. Or even better, be imprisoned by your vampire/werewolf liege. Still, to trigger it with a more than slim chance you need to be a king or higher and not follow an abrahamic religion (christian, muslim, jew).

As for a dragon, there is no in game way to turn your current character into a dragon. You can make your grandchildren into a dragon though. Marry a dragon and your children will be dragonblooded. With them marry a dragon again and there is a chance that your children will be full dragons (not 100% though).

If you want to use the console to be a dragon you only need to add_trait dragon Although I am not sure if that will change the portrait.
For vampires and werewolfs you need to add two traits. add_trait vampire/werewolf and add_trait secret_vampire or secret_werewolf

That should do it.

There is the Draconic culture. You are right, if you do change yourself to a dragon you should also change your culture to draconic. draconic_pagan is also a unreformed pagan religion, so you can change that too

Vampires and Werewolf also have their own culture, but they represent provinces where they rule openly and can be adopted by decision so you do not need to change them by console.
Some NPCs that get created like with the invite decision will be secretly werewolfs or vampires.

Dragons have the draconic culture and ethnicity, but you will also need the dragon trait for most dragon things to apply.
Since there's no way for a non-dragon to become a dragon in normal gameplay, there's not an event you can call to set it all up.

The mod is set up so that most mythos creatures can appear occassionally by event, especially through summoning, so some should still pop up.

I tested it out and you need to do the following console commands:

culture draconic
religion draconic_pagan
gfx_culture draconic
add_trait dragon

That should take care of everything, religion, culture, trait and the portrait.

Considering your reaction to the masks I think youre not all that thrilled about the increase in portrait modifications for injuries, war paint and tattoo.

With more detailed injuries, would it make sense to have race specific injuries like grounded for dragons or defanged (aka you got your teeth smashed in) for vampires with their own effects like increasing the risk while feeding?

And as the duel events seem to be so variable you could even have race specific event text. Although that means writing a lot of text, especially when you also take the race of the enemy into account. That are a lot of permutations.

Speaking of which, is there any way to help you with this mod? I cant draw and have no time (and energy) for full time scripting, but small things like writing texts or occasional bug hunting should be doable.

Sorry about the delay responding to some of this - real life has been busy.

It don't have plans to have any alternate versions of the mod - keeping one version up to date is enough work as-is.

For more races, I'm considering something specific to India, like Naga. Orcs are too modern. Goblins may get used in events, but I don't think I'll put them in as actual characters.

War paint and tattoos seem like they'll be a lot easier to add than masks, so I'm not too concerned about them.

Vampires getting defanged is an interesting idea I may consider. Dragons getting grounded would require rewriting the text of a lot of events that specifically reference them flying, so I probably won't do that. On that front, I'm more likely to look at some race-specific diseases that don't affect humans but are strong enough to be a threat to high-health races.

Any bug hunting is always helpful, especially if you know enough to narrow down the code causing the problem. Finding the code causing bugs and fixing those bugs tends to be one of the most frustrating parts of working on the mod.

That's normal, those are just the normal generic titles pagans can give out multiple copies of - none of them do anything except give an opinion boost.
However, since you are a werewolf, you make want to take notice of the Champion title. Normally, it's just another opinion boost, but for a werewolf, if you are challenged but unable to fight, they will fight in your stead.

Yes, but as you can see in the screenshot I have two x4 Venerable Elder slots. I also have two times the Master of the Bow and that title is unique (not in the screenshot)

Hi guys, I started a campaign with this mod as a vampire republic, but I found a bug :

Your palace buildings don't give any bonuses to the holding. It was a bit problematic but I found the problem.

this trigger fails with palace buildings. Owner doesn't target the owner as it should. You should use FROM instead of OWNER to correct it (I tested and it worked).
