How dare they rebel against me! Oh if only I were Greek I could do something really terrible to people when I get them in my dungeon. *shakes fist vigorously at his damn rebel scum*
We have become King! All is well. Go us! I am also thinking I will perpetually be amused with how things are going in the Holy Roman Empire now. I mean this is the first time I have ever seen that happen and I hope it keeps happening honestly. Much more amusing than diseases!
Things are great! We survive that terrible disease. We manage to survive childhood. We now are the King of Rus and a man. Time to get a family going and see about the next natural step in our plan which is to make the glorious Empire of Russia.
So our new King and ruler comes of age. Taking up the mantle of the scholar and Hermetic there is no time to relax. Things to do before disease or disaster claims his life we must find a wife and expand the realm. Fortify the borders!
You know, idle thought here, one of the things I miss about being Orthodox is no fun Crusades. Ahh well I suppose I will just have to make myself content with the greatest laboratory the world has ever seen! Well they won't see it because I hid it in my castle.
Oh look, a demon baby. That...could be complicated. Wasn't I trying to avoid joining the forces of Satan? If only there were some way to save myself from this monster child...
Our attempts on attaining immortality is coming along quite nicely. Takes a little sneaking but I mean if we are going to be going for an alchemy route to immortality well I think our talented King of Rus will have no problem.
Mwhahaha! Immortality is mine! The power of life flows through my veins. Nothing can stop me now...wait? There are other Immortals? And apparently one of them, this so called Arthur, wants to take my head and put an end to my evil ways. Hmm...damn complications.
Aww how sweet. Our wonderful Immortal ruler's wife has risen up from the ranks of being a mere apprentice in the Hermetic Society and is now a proper member of it. Our leader's teachings are very wise.
Slow continued growth. More lands falling into our grip. It will take a bit longer to get our hands properly on enough to make our Empire of Russia but I think we can do it easily before the Mongols make trouble.
Poetry is the best way to master the art of diplomacy I think we can all agree right? I also like to see how my territories slowly manage to get their hands on certain nearby nomad holdings. Not sure how they manage it but gives me something to do to make sure the lands are settled.
Say what you will about how it was a foolish move to get that sword...but I like it. A great sword. The best sword even. One day I might even has to kill someone with it.
Good! No longer will my own personal holdings in my core area of Novgorod have to suffer the raids of hated pagans. Very pleased about that. Not a war that will help me get Russia but it brings our immortal ruler peace of mind.
How interesting! A young maid who thinks she acts for God? What an interesting...opportunity. So come young maiden to my court where I shall put your talents to great and wonderful use.
In a land ruled by a brilliant immortal King is it really that strange to have a woman general chosen by God? I think not. Fairly normal really. You can get used to anything with enough time.
More nomad lands falling into my grip. As well it is nice but getting ever closer and closer towards my final goal of that 80% of Russia mark. Shouldn't be too many years more.
I may not be the most upstanding of rulers. However while I may not be the most just and noble I do have some of the best loot in all the land. My crowns are really rather impressive these days...
