some suggestions...

- I would change the brandenburg ai file, as brandenburg always tries to conquer germany from the beginning (and they declare war upon poland every 15 years).

I have noticed that Brandenburg can go on an early aggressive annexation tour, especially if allied with Denmark. I however have no plans to change the AI yet.

- russian colonynames are widely incorrect. i corrected them myself, if you want i can post them.

This would be much appreciated. In Latin writing, that is. (This is the AGCEEP guideline, which I intend to follow)

- sweden is to aggressive, they always annex norway before 1550!

Same as Brandenburg. I haven't concluded a chronical problem yet.

- the channel isles shouldn't be seceded to france by henry's generous peace. (has it ever been french?)

You have a point, although the choice in this event is of course madness in itself. It's purely for a England player who wants to avoid the continuation of the HYW. Maybe there could be an event which restricts the AI from choosing this, as it makes France much too strong in the early game. Then again, maybe not. Unless this is a big issue I'm not intending to change this.

- in what way did london produce "luxury goods"? or is it because it's the capital?

The number of provinces with luxury goods in Europe have been severely toned down. Some other provinces which lacked it as resource now have it. Paris has lost it, because it certainly didn't deserve it in 1419, and it's resource has been changed back to grain. Holland which got it probably because of the 'Delftsblauw', has lost it too.

Where can we get that new version?

As I am in no way affiliated with the original MyMap team, and purely a fan trying to make this mod as historical and playable as possible, I am still looking for a webspace on which I can publish it.
I will include a changelog.

I'm sure they were part of France. They're even called "Normandy's Islands' in Polish.

I installed the latest mymap and there are only "grand campaign" and "observer".

please tell me how to get some more scenarios.

these are all just text files you open with notepad. it's all kind of self-explaining but quite a work without any se.

Good to hear Mymap is not yet frozen, Fortuyn. I wish i were able to offer you any kind of help but unfortunately i've neither decent knowledge of medieval Netherlands nor the time to figure out how to add ports to provinces. Hope you have already solved this problem though?



Speaking of problems, i have recently read quite much on the subject of South-East Asia in early fifteenth century and questions arose in my mind regarding the area's initial political and religious setup in the mod. What bugs me the most is how come there's Mataram present Mymap in 1419? This country didn't show up until as late as the 1520s; who ruled the eastern part of Java and surrounding islands earlier was Majapahit Empire and its successor Sultanate of Demak, both rather large and powerful states. I guess these tags were sacrificed on the altar of cruel gods of tag shortage, am i right?



The Kongo center of trade pissed me off. I edited the relevant countryfiles so that now Kongo's neighbors know where Kongo is and thus trade in the local cot rather than in Mexico or Sagami; is there any valid reason to revert my changes? If not, i'll gladly share the tweaked files.

You can simply list the countries you've edited to have knowledge of that CoT.

True. Will do that after work. Do you think letting Congolese minors know not only of Kongo but of their direct neighbors as well would be ahistorical with all the wars and alliances it would imply?

It's quite accurate for them to be fighting and allying with each other. They should know their immediate neighbors at the very least, and everyone should know about Kongo, the chief power in the region.
