I just noticed that there was a province in Patagonia ( Chubut ) with base tax 6, is this a bug or is there a good reason for? (I don't think so, becouse it is now one of the richest provinces of south America, which I think it wasn't)
They did not repress Greeks living in their provinces, they just enforced Turkish language for government and official purposes. Had it been the case, the Greeks would have never became Turks by their own wills and be happy about it, while still preserving their own religion.Nicophorus said:-Karamanoglu was discussed as culturally wipeing out greek culture within its territories (turkish language only laws, etc), and that is why we decided that it was one of the only places on the map that turkish/orthodox mix was appropriate (for the turkish culture/speaking orthodox greeks there). I'm happy to see its costal province with turkish/orthdox but greek needs to be removed from their national cultures. They repressed all other cultures/languages but turkish.

Basileios I said:- In Italy the city Padova (in the Veneto province) should be renamed to Padua. Same goes for Mantova (Mantua). These are the historical names.

They are Padova and Mantova , thats the correct spelling in Italy
All religions hold no value to society except for one's individual spiritual faith, you cannot get a passport on religion, you can change religion every minute of your life and no one cares. So it's useless in politics and society. And I state again , it should be a private spiritual thing that you keep to yourself.
Only being a citizen of a nation does that hold any value.
Converted to islam, lol, now I am , now I am a buddha, now I am a catholic, now i am orthodox, what should I be tomorrow??? lol, lol, who cares what faith you are except yourself.
you can change your religion at any time , but you cannot change your citizenship without going through the proper channels as well as being accept by another nation.

Basileios I said:Yes, but the Liege province on MyMap shoots far into the Dutch/German area. The city itself is in the French area, but the province as it is drawn on MyMap should be Dutch or Middle German (not sure).
Stinus said:Thats becouse it also covers Limbourg (part of the Liège in that time), but I think french was still the mayor culture in that part. Otherwise it would have to be dutch ( The Limbourgois were more linguistic and culturally more dutch than german )

Basileios I said:They are Middle German (according to my map). At that time (1419) there was no distinction possible between "German" and "Dutch" regions. There was no standard Dutch and no standard German yet, just a lot of dialects related to each other (that's why it's called a dialect continuum). These dialects are grouped into Low German (Flemish, Dutch, Low Saxon ...), Middle German (Ripuarian, Saxon, Silesian ...) and High German (Alemannian, Austro-Bavarian ...).
