I did not play actually, I was observing the game as Merceneries. I did not do anything at all. They were allied with the Ottomans and just grabbed 3/4 of Hungary and kept it for good.

Ah, I see. When did this take place? Early in the game? IMO, Wallachia being in alliance with the Ottomans and being their vassal as of 1419 is ridiculous as Wallachia at the time was at war with the Ottomans and infact Mihail I, the 'prince' of Wallachia at the start of the game, died fighting the Ottomans in 1420.

Well, it happened one time, though I played as observer several times in which Wallachia either survived as is, got completely annexed by others (Moldova once, Poland twice) and came back as a revolter once. So I don't think it's very ahistoric.

On the other hand, look at the main history of Wallachia after 1419, and unless you are going to place them under Ottoman vassalage through events, it's not very practical to take them out just for a couple of years.

How is historical that Wallachia get's annexed by Poland? Wallachia, indeed, lost it's fair share of battles and once lost Oltenia but they where never outright annexed by anyone. As for Ottoman vassalage, well I don't see anything wrong with adding some events to make it run smoothly. An event after Vlad III Dracula (1476) that vassalises Wallachia (until Mihai Viteazul) would work well.

I never said anything about me making events (the last time I tried to write an event... it didn't work :p ), I said that representing all of this would be best done by events. If there's anybody here that can write events and is interested in this, maybe they can help. :)

I didn't say Cephalonia did not exist as an island, but the country had a name already and Tocco received the title Despot of Epirus officially. This is like the British Queen using the title Countess of Falklands instead, because Epirus was the heartland of that small despotate in 1419 compared to a couple of barren islands.

hey~! both my parents are from Kefalonia and ive spent alot of time there, they where not "barren" untill grey wolf/turkish terrorists commited arson on their mountain forrests (as they did to many many other greek islands a few years back). The Island is actually famous for being one of the only places a particular kind of giant Fir tree grows at high altitudes, and the Venitians made use of the extensive timber on the islands for their ship building.

Game/map wise, the Ionian Islands, and ALL the other greek islands on the map really need to be mountain terrain. Those islands are mountain tops left over from the great flood of the mediterreanian, I know most of them first hand..they are all vast majority mountinous terrain moreso then even alot of the nearby greek mainland).. some (like Kefalonia) with mountains in excess of 5,000 feet (mount Enos, where one of Greece's national parks are).

I question the liberal use of "straights" between Ionian Islands and Epirus (and all the other greek island straights too). Sure one of those Islands (Lefkas) is very close to Epirus, Kefalonia and Zakynthos are many miles away from the mainland.... same with the province "Naxos" ... it should not be connected via. straight to Evia. NONE of the greek islands should be connected to the mainlands except maybe Evia.

Kefalonia is thought to be the origional "Ithica" from The Odyssey and The Illiad. Perhaps that was more prestigious to the Italian owner of those islands then Despote of wild Epirus.

so in summary about suggestions for the Greek Islands:

-none of them should be connected to each other/mainland except Evia
-all of them should be mountain terrain (maybe reduce the fortresses in those provinces down to minimum if island/mountain/small fortress at start of game is too extreem a combo)
-State religion and culture of Cephalonia should be Catholic/Italian province orthodox/greek

Interesting, so the crowd that makes suggestions based on intuition grows.

Most of the people here have been spoiled with Agung's lightning-fast turnaround times. I don't think they realise how much work actually goes into it.

Agung, you sure live in a parallel universe with parabolic timetables with twisted hours and days that never equal to ours.

Haha, actually, you're close. Agung lives in an alternative dimension, parallel and equal to ours in all ways except for one important difference: time there goes backwards. That's right: as we age, Agung gets younger. Just like Merlin...and Dick Clark.

At first this may be difficult to understand. Consider, for example, the "patching" process of MyMap. To us, it appears like he is adding new features and fixing various bugs. In his reality, though, he is taking away features and creating bugs! This is a very difficult and nerve-wracking process for Agung...imagine, having created the perfect EU2 mod months ago, only to have to destroy it over the next few years. Anyways, this should shine more light on why "tomorrow's best bands" always appear on "America's Rockin' New Years" before they're famous.

Suggestions of the day: ;)

- Marv has Marv as town center and neighboring Charjou has Marw as town center.

- Erevan has Erzurum; Armenia has Yerivan as town centers. They should be switched. No questions please. :) Erzurum is on the west, Yerivan is on the east. Simple mistake.

- Vojvodina should have Petrovaradin as town center. Nis is just wrong. Maybe another historic town but not Nis (originally much more south of Belgrade).

- Rashka can have Novi Pazar as town center, as Ras was already deserted by 13th century.

- I often get error reports with conflicting monarchs every now and then when a new revolter nation gains independence.

- Why does Transylvania get Magyar+Slovak+Croatian+Serbian+Romanian isn't this a little too much? People question here when I voice Armenian for Ottoman Empire, but for a tiny one or two province principality five cultures is a bit odd.

But no one is holding a gun to his head to force him to say he's releasing it on such and such day... ;) Johan is more experienced on these issues and he never gives a date and time. augung, said yesterday that the new version would be up in the morning.

I have been asking for all MED islands to be mountains for over a year (except sicily) , it seems no one listens or responds

-State religion and culture of Cephalonia should be Catholic/Italian province orthodox/greek

check this site for all greek islands and brief history with maps and pictures, scroll down to select which island you require , also mainland greek places included

Most of the people here have been spoiled with Agung's lightning-fast turnaround times. I don't think they realise how much work actually goes into it.

not referring to yourself, but a lot people/modders give agung advice on lands/culture etc based on erred 20th century advice instead of EU2 time knowledge , so he wastes his time in correcting all these errors, back and forth , back and forth he works, like a trojan.
