Hawo guys, I havent used daim since well i dont remember maybe hoi2 but i recently installed it with doomsday 1.2 REBB.
I played from 1936 as Germany and was hoping for a tough ride. And Id like to congratulate you guys, It was alot tougher than usual to begin with. It made initially the allied defence of france a bit tougher (might i add i was fighting through the winter of 39/40), but still alot harder opposition than in the past. Then when it came to russia, teh russians were very competitive for the first 8 months or so. I attacked in July 1941 and had only got up to Kiev in the sth east and former Latvia to the nth adn there was a scattered line through the middle by winter of 1941. BUT, by March 1942, I managed to put a full scale assault that worked well and really kicked some commo ass
. I did this with a lack of manpower and yeah...
This is where I just come to suggestion that the ai files for when the russians are on teh back foot or/ some ai text for after the initial operation barbarossa, is tweaked with to make the russian aggression and well build up continues. Its now 1943 and I have taken Lenningrad, Moscow and basically all i have to do is take stalingrad and move to teh oil fields of asia which is basically jsut going to be a walk over...
But yeah if you can think of a way to keep the russian aggression in their build up to continue and maybe build more t34s. Well yeah anything that will continue to annoy my units, cause I had no manpower basically this whole campaign and the russians arent able to take advantage of that .
Anyway its on its way.
Oh and does USA ever invade italy or normandy in DAIM ?
