Hi,

I came up with this design some time ago, but I haven't had the time to perfect it or to show it off fully. Here is how it looks like:

It can be modified by going one level up on the whole highway, but you can't use the tunnels then, and allow for streets to go bellow it and connect the two sides of the city.

This can be used in the middle of the city or at the edge, it would just not need the highway off and on ramps on both sides if used at the edge. The important thing is for the ON ramps to go after the OFF ramps and not the other way around to avoid the vehicles getting in each others path.

This video shows how my "Tree" Highway Entrance/Exit ramp Design works in cities on small(20k), medium(130k) and large scale(400k). It's a fully working highway system using ramps that requires no interchange or intersections to be built and still give you perfect traffic flow on and off the highway and intro and out of the city. Make entrances and exits from your city all over the place and let traffic use all lanes along the way. The small city is one of my old designs, while the medium and large cities are from other players save files downloaded from the Steam Workshop.
