My puppet doesn't like me

So, I'll start with the obvious, yes, I'm using a couple of mods. But I'm pretty sure none of them are related to this little problem.

I know this might be stating the obvious, but my puppet is at war with me. Somewhat understandable, since I conquered US to get all the major points, but still...

Well, the actual problem, it seems that all the US focuses continue working even when there's no sense for them to work. Countries with the national spirit Under US protection continue being influenced by the party US was when it completed the focus rather than its current political party. For example, in this one game, all of south america is still being influenced by democracy instead of Fascism.

(Just to make it clear I didn't do something funky out of Ironman mode.)

Obviously, US's Pax Americana kicked in despite them simply not being in a position to fulfill it anymore. Is there something that can be done about this kind of situations?

(PS. Sorry if I missed a similar thread, I admittedly didn't look too deep before posting this one.)

Looks like a flaw in the focus system, change of government should invalidate the focus really. Consider putting it in the bug section?

(Also, I'd blur out or remove the nazi flag in the last picture since they're not welcome on the forums )

The focus should have a code line in it that deactivates it if the US is a puppet. Just didn't get caught yet.

Report this as a bug in the bug forum so that @Havebeard and company can correct the focus.
