My plan for my first game.

So, i just cant take it anymore and have to tell someone of the awesome plan me and my friend are gonna do in multiplayer once the game comes...

A Japanese-US Alliance against the UK!
In short i take China and all of the South east asia including Australia while the US take the Carribean and Canada.
I send as much of my navy as possible to the US east coast to help them against the RN and their landings.
The remaining support my campaign in Asia and protect the US west coast, i also wont have to worry about oil and other materials with my friend playing the US sending constant convoys over the Pacific that we already have full control over.
The UK is gonna be so split between Germany in Europe, Japan is Asia and US in Americas they wont be able to fight back while we take their empire bit by bit!

Do it sound insane to you guys or what?

Well I was going to try doing the same thing with my friend, so I certainly hope it isn't insane

Still, for your plan, make sure you contribute the most to the war. You need to tell Germany, to their face, that you are the Axis leader as Japan.

Indeed, my friend will be playing the US, and i wont tell Germany i am the leader of the axis due to the fact i aint gonna be joining them.
US will be starting its own faction and i will join that one, Germany and us both have the goal of UK falling but we dont cooperate on it.

I was thinking about playing as either Denmark or Sweden and create the New Kalmar Union consisting of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Build up army and industry and wait until the start of invasion of Poland and then guarante the independence of Finland or send aid when USSR invades them. If I have survived long enough to get a white peace or whatever with the USSR by then I will attack Germany via Denmark and securing the baltic as my own personal poolXD

The new faction system will give some very interesting options. Do you intend playing this game against an AI britain or a human? If its AI you should have an easy first game. A human would probably come up with effective counter measures like an alliance with russia.

Japan is gonna be so unstoppable with China, Australia and the rest of South East Asia.

- Phase 9: Once the war is in full swing, take over Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand other small isles.

- Phase 11: Secretly put pressure on the German's, prolonging the war until it is no longer feasible to fight.
- Phase 12: Harass the Russian's as much as I can, either directly or indirectly by influencing Japan/Germany.
- Phase 13: Bring Peace, and focus more on industry and military, expand resources and create an economic powerhouse across all owned territory.
- Profit!

North, South and Central America

The United States of America reforms into the Empire of American States when it absorbs Mexico, Cuba, and Canada into it's direct control through Annexation.

Panama will absorb all Central American States and Caribbean Islands, direct puppet of the EAS.

Brazil and Argentina will split South America for control, direct puppet of EAS.

South Pacific

Australia will absorb Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and many of the small island chains that come under control as a direct puppet of EAS.

Western and Central Europe

Germany will spread from Paris to Poland, possibly Belarus/Ukraine.

UK will become a shadow of it's former self, but independence will be maintained as a brokered peace between EAS and Germany.

Italy will gain a lot of territory on the southern parts of Western, Central, Eastern Europe and a significant part of Africa. As a result the Italian empire stretches from it's borders once more.

Africa

Many of the colonies of former empires will find themselves under German or Italian control.

Asia

Japan, having no direct major enemy other than the USSR they will find that it's large navy wasn't as useful as it had planned. No Pearl Harbor due the US having turned fascist and posing a greater threat than initially conceived when many carriers were laid down in the 1920's and early 1930's. Yamamoto is quoted saying, "attacking the EAS would result in challenging a terrible giant and filling him with a terrible anger". Instead Japan focuses strictly on China and invading India. They take parts of Mongolia and also contemplate plans to attack the USSR but nothing materializes beyond the drawing tables.

The Japanese are able to quickly destroy the British navy in the area and are able to secure India under it's domain. Japan takes actions to invade further into Asia-Middle East but it comes at a cost. Due to several set backs and military losses early on in the invasions past India and Pakistan Japan finds itself retreating to thse countries and has no further plans to conquer new territories in this war.

About half the world's population now rests on the Japanese flag.

Eastern Europe

The USSR will find itself under attack by a well supplied and well organized German War Machine, but being secretly supplied by the EAS allows for the USSR to put on offensives and counter-offensives. They simply don't have the technology to keep up the German Wunderwaffe and "V" projects, the Russian's are able to hold the Germans back from taking Moscow but at a great cost in manpower. They loose a lot of irritable territory, but are able to more or less remain a power in the region.

I was thinking this:

As Germany delay war with Poland until mid to late '40, possibly '41 with the early years spent on tech rushing, industrial buildup, and squeezing as much free land out of the allies as possible. I'm looking at you Yugoslavia. Keep the reds to the east as fat and happy as possible.

Invade Poland, Denmark, and France thru the Low Countries while Italy and hopefully Spain follow suit in the med.

Follow up with an invasion of Norway, Sweden...sorry Johan...and also Iceland.

Strangle Britain by sea and air while I support a Spanish invasion of the rock and Italy in North Africa.

Launch sealion.

If sealion is successful then I turn east to build that highway to Japanese Mongolia everyone has been asking for.

I have no plans for the invasion of the US as I would rather control turkey and Greece however I would like to see how diplomatic moves in South America would play out.

@Heruure - A+ for your plan to take those Britischers down a peg or six - not insane at all.

My first minor game I want to shoot for the stars with boundless ambition...Ireland into major or at least secondary power. Stomp England. Free the captive Celtic Nations.

I proudly present: 12 Point-Super-Amazing-****-the-English-over-Plan

1) Build Industry and focus on getting those beautiful extra research slots
2) Build Blackshirt support -> Civil War/Coup, slowly align towards Germany and axis, try not to arouse too much suspicion...
3) Build army (focus on mechanized infantry, mountain troops [for Scottish Highlands], and paratroopers) (Liberal use of volunteer forces to gain experience)
4) Build Air-force and tons of transport planes (with England focused on the Continent and Germany, local air superiority could be within reach, at least for long enough to fulfill plan)
5) Ignore Navy, with the exception of Convoys and maybe U-boats if industry allows (Naval supremacy against England is a pipe dream)
6) Wait until war breaks out and a large portion of the British home army leaves to futilely attempt to save France from German steel.
7) Join Axis and Strike! Seize Northern Ireland once and for all, use air-force to sweep the Irish Sea clean and establish air dominance over North and West England.
8) Simultaneous landings at the Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales, massive airdrops to support these landings in depth. Seize as many airfields, ports, supplies and resources quickly as possible.
9) Establish foothold and dig-in before sweeping South and East. Try to deal a crushing blow before the inevitable blockade of Ireland grinds our army to a halt. Speed is key.
10) Knock England out while her trousers are down.
11) Demand Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Mannin (Bonus points for Brittany) be released at peace talks (Hoping either these are release-able or that there are extensive puppet state mechanics)
12) Profit! Point and laugh at England.

I expect to fulfill my plan to the last, or get completely get stomped by the UK. With either outcome, I'll have fun breaking history, drinking Irish whiskey, and blasting Irish Rebel music along the way.

I like to think my own plan is ambitious, or at least hard.
As Italy I want to
I) Create new alternative fascist Faction - avoid Germany.
II) Have Hungary, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia join asap by 1938
III) Successfully pull off coups in Luxembourg, Ireland, and Tibet and have them join before 1939.
IV) Pull off a coup in the US to at the very least keep them out of war or have them join my faction
V) successfully pull off one of a few invasions before Germany starts a war:

(a) invade Finland; (b) Invade and conquer as much as I can from
Austria through to Czechoslovakia.​

VI) then once Germany starts a war I'll give myself another two options:

(a) invade France/attack the allies simultaneously, but not with, Germany; (b) Invade Yugoslavia and Norway​

VII) After that I'll just pick off unaligned nations one by one and wait to see who wins between Germany and the Soviets, and the final phase will be:

(a) If the Soviet's are losing, invade the Caucasus through Turkey (which I annexed) with Japan coming in from the East, (b) if the Germans are losing, invade Germany and race the Soviet to Berlin to save as much as I can from the Comintern​

VIII) World Conquest, the redrawing of borders and liberating countries from Scotland to Catalonia to Ukraine, and a new order!

This will be even more fun with an extended timeline and my own mod to the states and adding countries, but either way this is the plan.
Not sure if its possible, but I sure plan to test it out.

I'm the US player who will be playing alongside Heruure.

As soon as possible, I will improve relations with Japan and embargo Britain (my rationale is because they're not paying back those World War I debts fast enough!)

I plan on carrying out War Plan Red by the books, especially with the Philippines being safe since they'll be surrounded by an ally soon enough. I'm even working on a cheat sheet for how to carry it out within my theater of operations, according to the 1930's plans!
