My opinion on the very next fix that has to happen to make the game semi-playable.

Repairs. Simply ship repair system needs to be fixed. As it stands, ships are disposable because once the armor is damaged, theres no repairing it. You simply go into combat over and over until it basically gets wiped in an initial salvo because it has no more protection. This, IMHO, will make a big difference in getting us to get a better feel for the game flow and how its supposed to go. Anyways, just my 2 cents.

Are you really sure that you repaired your ships at a planet and not with a repair ship?

I think that if you have a repair-ship in the fleet you only repair the armor no matter if you are at a planet or not. I'm not 100% sure though but my ships seem fine after I repaired them at a planet with no repair-ship in the fleet.

Nah its a known bug. Half the ships don't even show up in the repair UI. Some show up but you can't do anything to them. Some show up but it only repairs hull systems and not armor. The enemy ships show up and you can repair them. Its totally borked at the moment. To my understanding Repair ships don't work at all, although I havent actually tried them yet.

To add to this, armor is only repaired if that section has taken internal damage.
