Hello, I've seen http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-and-institutions-should-be-improved.1046418/ I wanted to write reply However, it's too long and bit out of topic. Here I started new thread.

After Mandate of Heaven patch, Ming is overpowered and too stable. I've played very peaceful game and observed what happened to Ming and its tributary nations. Tributary system plus current rival system is the main reason for super-stability of Ming sphere, imo.

Manchu, which was tributary of Ming, grew big, having high LD. She refused paying tributary, resulting Ming dow'd on her. Right after the war begans, neighboring nations(rivals of Manchu) dow'd on Manchu because they saw Manchu armies crushed. In the end, Manchu went back in Ming's sphere.

The same happens for Buryatia. She refuses to pay tributary. Ming dow'd, every other neighboring countries jumped in after few initial battles. Similar thing happens for last 200 years.

We players all know how to deal with MIng. Stay longer in Ming's sphere, grew larger, truce lock any nearby rivals, get reliable allies and then tank Mandate and attack Ming.

However, stupid AI don't understand this.
1. They refuses to pay tribute as soon as the arbitrary LD reaches some points
2. Regardless of existing potential enemy(rivals) nor possibility of winning unvoidable war against Ming.

Possible solution might be re-scaling LD of tributary of Chinese empire so that they get out of Ming's sphere when they can beat Ming and neighboring rivals. Or remaking old rival system so that mid-small nations stop rivaling each other while there is big blob threat right next to them.

Yea they should probably scale down the LD on Ming tributaries. It's been fun watching Korea getting destroyed like clockwork every 25-35 years or so.
Ming has 400k troops, Korea 100k. Korea will not pay tribute, Korea will get full occupied, Ming gets a lot of prestige, Korea loses a war to Oirat. Rinse and repeat.
