You are eyeing on a large neighboring kingdom with 50 counties. You are an emperor. Your first pagan religion is reformed with Equality.

You check the kingdom's de jure counties. Out of 20, 3 are owned by small neighboring realms. You already got them. Out of remaining 17 counties, the king has 9 in his demesne, and 8 are owned by his most powerful duke.

You tried to steal the duke. But it turned out to be impossible. He doesn't have grown up children or any other living family. What do you do?

I have envisioned a nearly fail proof solution and refined it to the perfection. Here it goes;

First, find a mother with a child. Gender doesn't matter. If she is still married, you can break it by either murdering the husband or imprisoning her to be your concubine. Then give her some gold and seduce her 1~2 times depends on how long it took. You need a couple month before the pregnancy shows. Either marry her to the enemy's vassal duke. But first land the existing child so he will stay as your vassal.

Now pray that a child is born. It doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl. She only needs to survive that same day.

When your biological child is born as the duke's own, transfer the already landed older child to a vassal duke of you. Try to imprison the older step child, and your lover will inherit the title. Just keep trying to imprison the current ruler of that county and execute until your biological child becomes your vassal count.

Now give the older child a kingdom title, and either imprison/execute or plot murder the child. Now the enemy vassal duke became your vassal king

And if the counties he brought to your realm gives just over 51% de jure counties of his former liege's kingdom title, usurp the title and see the kingdom gets shattered. You only had to murder your step child, lover, and your own child. Nothing the Sly Bloodline's special ability can't erase.

And a kingdom with 50 de facto counties gets shattered into pieces for you to vassalize when you usurp the kingdom title.

It is slightly immoral I guess. You had to kill your step child, lover, and finally your own biological child. But it will be really roll playing if you are a satanist or something.

This method is highly likely to work, even when all other strategies have failed.
