My illegitimate bastard is heir

Hi. Do anyone know why my bastard is heir? When I got him I denounced him and he remains bastard. It says he is disqualified from line of sucession. Yet he still is my heir and will suceed to the throne of abbasid empire.




Update: I created a kingdom and suddenly he is no longer my heir. I think it was some kind of inheritance update which was not triggered until now.

Muslim bastards can inherit. Since he was briefly eligible after he was born he was count as your heir then. It just needed some time to sort itself out.

Yeah that happens with muslim bastard's. It perplexes me to this day, I would recommend just being a good faithful husband and avoid siring bastard's as a muslim. Otherwise one accidental death could lead to a game over.

But I said my bastard son is no longer heir. So he did actually disqualify from sucession after all. Now my younger brother is heir, as I had planned. The game needed to update itself i think. It did after I created a kingdom.

Yup. Sometimes the succession doesn't update immediately, for some reason. If it's urgent you can just save and reload and it should update.
