I think this game is one of the best I have played. I often miss sharing my experience with others. Therefore I will write about my adventures in this thread. I also encourage others to do the same in this very same thread.
Ok. I start off as the Teutonic order in year 1399. My strategy is to lay low a while and see if any opportunities reveal themselves.
I focus on my land forces and ignore the navy. My long term goal is to conquer Germany and western part of Russia. First thing that happens is that Denmark, Sweden and Norway declares war. I manage to fend them off and get a white peace after going on the offence against Denmark. Years later Poland declares war and is crushed. I take its northern provinces. Next up is bohemia while they are emperor. I take western part of them. Some infamy builds up. Some of the eastern orthodox guys make trouble and I get some of their provinces aswell. Now I border the horde. I save and goes on a rampage in HRE. The pope excomunicates me. I annex loads of small german provinces and vassalise the rest. For some reason my own population doesnt like this even if they are prussian! My stab drops to -3 because of unrest in my realm. I also get overextension.. Austria, Milan and England declares war. I get tired of hunting down rebels. The biggest stack of noble rebels is 55k. I kill them, but I decide to reload since this kind of gameplay is very boring and tiresome in the long run. Reload. Now I will stay below the infamy limit and nibble the HRE and the horde. How can I join the HRE by the way? I tried checking the country of the emperor to see if I could ask for membership in the diplomatic screen but no luck. Maybe I cant join since I have already been in war with the empire?
Anyways my empire seems safe for now, but Austria is lurking in the south..
