My heir doesn't grow

Guys, maybe you have faced the same bug. My heir just doens't grow, his age is fixed as 0 years old. I'm not sure, is this bug is just cosmetic (like it only shows that he is 0 years old, but in fact he is 10 years old, as it should be), but i dont want to risk too much, because this try is really good and i dont want to ruin it by this stupid bug.

Thus you are muslim, wait for the ruler changer event while you are in regency. I think you will get it anytime soon.

Btw if it's not ironman game, just use "kill_heir" console command.

I had the same buf in a Sweden game. A regency from 1507 to 1536... not funny.

Well, it's ironman, and i'm doing an achievement called "The Third Way". Every year counts, so it's not fun to wait a random event. But it looks like i haven't got any other options.

It appears that with every expansion Paradox releases, they introduce new bugs which seem unrelated to the content of the expansion.

It has been reported, the problem seems to be that two heirs are generated, with one having a birthdate in the future.

So this makes playing EU IV impossible at the moment, unless you play a non-monarchy? I got the same issue. My original heir died and I got a new heir at the age of 0 who does not grow even after restarting.

I killed my heir using the console so many times that I finally entered an interregnum (a new heir always spawned immediately) and now I got a new king that way. No heir born yet, hopefully the bug will be gone with the next one. Please find a fix soon though, this could be gamebreaking.
