My game on mac will crash after three sols, is there anyway to stop this?

I never crash in games, my computer never overheats, and yet when I play this, it will crash after 3 sols, is there a solution to this or am I just stuck with this until I upgrade to a new Windows computer?
Edit: Forgot to mention this also freezes my computer, so that I have to shut down my computer.
