My game crashes on the first day I start.

Just two days ago I had the same problem but managed to get a game rolling, but now whenever I start an Old Gods scenario my game crashes after the first day. I have no mods running, only the Old Gods, Legacy of Rome and some unit packs. It is because the AI is all making lots of vassals all at the same time?

i suspect that is a problem from the game not recognizing you have the old gods running. Alway's check the lower left where you slect your country if the little icon for Old gods dlc is on.

I have that happen if there was a patch and the game didn't sync up with the servers to validate and aktivate the DLC.


Happened to me after my internet went down for 3 day's. Just bevore that a patch went out through steam. I couldn't get any DLC to run until my interneet was back. And no iternet sucks you can't check forums for tips how to fix stuff.
had to play base ck2 so stupid.

Could be some file is messed up in your save folder. When you don't ahve any important save file maybe delete the "\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II" folder. Helped me once.

be sure you have latest patch instaled (1.11) if you have older, then OG dont work.

Yes, if you are opted into the 1.092 beta then TOG will not work, as it was released after that.
