This could be comical as heck but since I'd like the wife of my heir (any day now) not to kill the future me and maybe procreate it's not. Plus I'll have enough intrigue to deal with to start, I'm sure. I'm wondering what to do to fix her -330 status to her husband for "losing a ward." I did swap a ward but, darn, Norman girls must take that extra hard.

I can't really kill her as I need the stewardship she brings and it's slim pickings now. Is there a console command or a file I can edit to fix her opinion either before or after the current ruler dies?

Also I don't *know* that opinion matters on procreation, just guessing there.

tbh, you have 3 kids, it is good enough ;)

But interesting situation, I see it first time :S

LOL, so I'm screwed huh?
I would normally be OK with 3 kids but epidemics are starting up again, yaddah yaddah and the son is only meh in traits.

P.S. Notice she has the content trail too. o.0

Fertility rate will be down, but you will still have the kids. It is a good thing, but she will plot to kill you, probably.

That's what I'm kind of worried about ...darn it -- maybe my legalism is high enough now I can send her and her 22 stewardship packing. Problem is there has been a German king in Italy for 18 or so years and now I"m going back to Italian -- people will want to kill me for certain.

Opinion modifiers do not last all that long, and you could check the game files to see how long this one lasts.

Even tyranny modifiers don't last longer than ten years last I checked.

The opinion modifier for losing a ward only lasts for five years, so you might want to just risk it. I'm still somewhat confused how you got it so high without deliberately switching wards around an awful lot as it's only meant to be -15 each time.

This one has been around some years, I thought it might resolve. What file would I be looking for? Thanks.

Oh Ok -- maybe it's been just short of 5 years. I did switch maybe 4 wards? I didn't realize she'd be pissed at him, thought she'd be pissed at me -- can't remember if I paid her off.

Cool beans, it just dropped off. 5 years definitely sounds about right -- long time to live with very mad wife. For future reference then, there are no opinion hacks?

The opinion modifiers present are in the save file, and if you feel like saving and editing that then you can delete them. You'd have to find the character whose opinion you wanted to change and their character ID from the game ( type 'charinfo 1' into the console in-game and hover over the portrait ) and then search for them in the save file.
