Hello everyone!
Here is part 1 that was just made public today:
I have other episodes ready to go with the plan of releasing one three times a week.
Again, this is for absolute beginners. Individuals who have maybe played Civilization or Crusader Kings II. Although, they might have been intimidated to start the learning process for EU4. It is an up to date tutorial and does include all DLC. However, the DLC material is only being discussed as it naturally comes up in our queries.
I am not an authority on this game, in fact I would describe myself very much as a noob. I have only played the game for 700 hours but I am very passionate about the game and would love to share it with more people.
I’m posting it here hoping to get feedback on all aspects of the video: length, quality, commentary, audio, style of teaching, gameplay, etc.
I will note that a couple adjustments have already been made between episode 1 and 2. I have lowered the volume of the music and I fixed the issue of the recording window not capturing the full game window (I apologize for that goof, it triggers me too.) I am trying to get the length down for future episodes, however the first few went over...
Also, the video is completely unscripted, but the first 5-15 minutes were mentally composed. This did not prevent me from saying “Ummm” 700 times (maybe it should of been scripted?) I think I got better at not saying such things as we started to actually play the game.
Thanks everyone for checking this out,
KRX
