My first shields - thanks mkj!

I hopefully will be an advert to the effectiveness of MKJ's "how-to" having completed my first shields this morning. They might not be great but i felt happy with my first attempts. These are previews of the standard shields.

might want to stretch out the basque shield just a bit though, so the horizontal crossbar is equal to the vertical, but other than that very nice

Mkj Yeah understood, although I actually chose to do it like this. When I matched the edges up it appeared to squashed and somewhat chubby. I deliberately moved the edges out to give it a more eye-pleasing view despite the fact that one line appeared a little thinner than the other.

Txini It was more of a test of simply making a shield than an actual basque "coat". Apologies if I actually indicated this in the wrong manner. I am still happy with how it turned out though. Just out of interest what is the basque coat?

Yeah i saw that. Quite nice, but it is a modern coat of arms. Either way i wasnt planning to release it, just merely demonstrate that a complete fool like myself can creat shields with relatively ease thanks to mad kings james's how-to guides. They are excellent.

There are some tweaks to improve the quality and appearance but i guess i will figure these out in time
