Plan is to release one episode per-day with a total of around 10 episodes. I’m trying to keep the episodes to about 30minutes. My goal is to move on eventually to mod tutorials and playthroughs with modded cities + DLC content. But I think starting modless is going to be a stronger foundation for getting everyone on the same page.
Again, this is for absolute beginners. Therefore, a lot of the people who frequently visit the forums likely won’t benefit from a series like this. Instead it is for Individuals who maybe just picked up the game during a steam sale, or are coming from Simcity. It might also include people who struggle to get their initial city up and going, maintaining a positive profit margin, and avoiding early city traffic.
I am not an authority on this game, in fact I would describe myself very much as a new player. I have only played the game for 250 hours but my enthusiasm for this game is growing and would love to share it with more people. Always having new things to learn keeps games like this exciting for a long time.
I’m posting it here hoping to get feedback on all aspects of the video: length, quality, commentary, audio, style of teaching, gameplay, etc. Also, the video is completely unscripted, but was mentally composed. One aspect that really bothered me was some of the vanilla soundtracks kept spiking up in volume. I need to see what I can do about that.
