All Hell breaks loose

On January 24 (March 8 in OT) Hitler decided to cancel his plan to occupy the Rhineland in March. His Troops marched straight in. Protest was sent from USA and Britain, but France had had enough. It declared war and begun mobilization. On the 28th Poland demanded East Prussia from Germany. When Hitler refused, Poland mobilized and 2 days later declared war. WW2 had begun.

The Rhine Offensive

Immediately, France launched a huge offensive into Germany. German defences cracked and Saarbrucken was taken on February 6.

By April, The French had advanced deep into germany. But in Poland, Germany was winning. Already they had taken the Polish corridor and Poland was low on forces.

Events in Mexico

Meanwhile, Mexico was becoming very communist. It installed a Marxist goverment and Begun work on the 'Santa Anna Line' To the North in case the US invaded. Mexico begun building a Tank division too.

Other International Events

February: Chaco War ends in stalemate.
March: 1936 Olympics cancelled.
April: Hungary and Romania mobilize. Weirdly enough, Ecuador decides to mobilize aswell :rofl: . Sino-Japanese War Begins.
 
March of the Panzers

The Rest of the year saw the spanish civil war, Germany winning in the north, and Britain finally intervening the War which had up to now been known as the Franco-German War (thus ignoring polands contribution) Germany also launched attacks and took luxembourg and Koln. Soon the French would be in full retreat :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
