My First AAR

I wnat to write my first AAR ever. I recently bought EU3 with all the expension pacvks including divine wind. Ive played EU2 and FtG before but it doesnt compare to EU3 in my mind.

Well for this first AAR Im leaving it up to the potential readers to decide what country I should play. Any country anywhere but it has to be available at the 1399 start.

This AAR might not last long because im a n00b but ill make sure its enjoyable...for the most part.

Also I guess since I am making an AAR now would be a good time to ask how do I get screens?

I dunno about the country, but at least in Vicky II and HoI3, F11 takes a screenshot and F12 takes a shot of the world map.

F11 takes screenshots and F12 takes a map of the world. They will be in the screenshot folder in your data files.

Good luck in your very first AAR! Since you're new to the game, I would recommend playing a stronger nation until you get a feel for the game. Maybe France, England or the Ottoman Empire?

In my opinion you'd do well to install Fraps, a screenshot taking program which puts the pictures where you want, and at a good size so you don't have to convert them. The EU3 pictures are several MB and in BMP format. Really, I only use F12 to get a world map, and Fraps for all other screenshots.

Alternatively, save the screenshots that EU III gives you (.bmp format) in some graphics program as .jpg. Any such program should do. BMP's are large so it's not a good idea to use them online.
