Yea, they're got Island later, and Grönland was lost to Prtisans later in 1940 or later. :( (I wish I've liberate Island earlier, although that won't help much.)

Fall Deutscher Orden(2)

1939.08.30 0300
Graudenz, Prussia

After German forces started to invade Poland, Warsaw ordered every troops to deploy to the Polish Corridor to defend their homeland. That makes all Polish garrison at the Prussian-Polish border left, thus provide an excellent situation to the Prussian Army, as no one in Poland know anything about their plan to invade Poland, and the weak defence of the border won't even be able to delay them.

One hour before, VII. Armeekorp of the Westen Heeresgruppe steamrolled into the Polish town of Grudziądz, making this place into the first battleground of this war. Although the Polish garrison fight bravely against the invaders, they are absoulutely outnumbered and are crushed. 23 Polish troops were killed, and 13 were captured and become the first Polish POW. After other Armeekorps arrived here, this place become the HQ of the W. HGr, before they take Thorn.

Inside a Granary, generals of W. HGr was having a meeting about the progress of the Operation.

"So, what's the progress now? General Haber?"

"A telegram from the HQ of O. HGr(Osten Heeresgruppe) said that we've controlled the city of Sudauen, and the blitzkorps had captured all lands east to the Weichsel river."

Pol04.png

"Very well, then how about our progress?"

"The frontier unit have started to assault Kulm, and I think we can take Thorn in......about 3 days."

"Nice, then any data collected from the last battle?"

"Yes, we captured several Polish soldier, but no useful information. They are outnumbered, and their equipments are old. That means our victory above them is not a surprise at all."

"Send those POW to Elbing, we'll deal with them later......"

"General! News from the frontline!" Suddenly, a soldier rushed in with a telegram paper, "Kulm just surrendered to us!"

"And another telegram from OKR ordered us to advanced to Thorn now, as the first defence line of Allied forces is broken." The soldier continued.

"Send a telegram to them, tell them we're on the way."

"Yes, ma'am!"

"And this meeting is over, dismiss and start marching to Thorn!"

3 days later, the civilian defence of Thorn surrendered to Prussia, and most lands which was ceded to Poland was reclaimed. Also, as Poland abandoned Bromberg, the blitzkorps, who took Danzig earlier, raided Bromberg before the Germans, and hoist the Prussian Flag above the city.

Pol05.png

Hours later, OKR ordered the W. HGr to take Lodsch and Radom, to block Germany from Warschau.

Amazingly, the Germans are quite quiet.

Yes, they don't even care about we take Danzig
Maybe that's because we are both nations governed by "Aryan Race"

Or maybe in this universe, Germany in the '30's is a peace loving, flowerpicking, woodcarving and generally pacifistic nation? Hmm, that would be farfetched no?

Not likely, as she still steamrolled most of the Europe.
Or maybe just the Führer doesn't want to crush Prussia now as they have a common enemy?

Fall Deutscher Orden(3)

Pol08.png

The unexpected assault of Prussian Forces successfuly controlled northwestern and northeastern Poland without much resistence. 9 days after the war started, the city of Grodno, Poznan, Lodz and Radom was taken by Prussia, while most Polish forces were trapped at the front against Germany and Hungary.

As the Prussian Army already started to regroup, the Polish Army in Warsaw area will be outnumbered. To prevent it, Warsaw Command ordered half of Warsaw's garrison to defend the town of Lomza, if the plan succeed, Prussian forces will not be able to encircle Warsaw unless they took Lomza, that will gain enough time for Polish army to regroup and defend Warsaw.

Pol09.png

However, Lomza garrison themselves were outnumbered, and after 1 day of bloody battle, Lomza finally lost, and the surviours fled to Warsaw and wait for the inevitable.

Axis forces advanced rapidly, as most Polish army were terminated at Cracow, and the others were sent to protect Warsaw. It's September 20, and Warsaw become the last hold of the Polish forces, surrounded by Wehrmacht and Reichsrehr.

After 6 days of continuous assault, most of the Polish troops are injured, deorganised and demoralised. On September 26, Commander of the Polish garrison send a secret telegram to the Prussian Command at Torun, and let the Prussian army to enter Warsaw.

Pol11.png

After the news of Warsaw being captured by Prussia, Adolf Hitler himself send a letter to Königsberg to protest about that action. However, it seems that no one in Prussia cares about that. As Prussia is governed by Socialists, which Hitler thinks Soviet Union is supporting them, he cancel the plan to invade Prussia, and concentrate his attention to the Allies instand.

3 days after Poland surrendered to Prussia, Britian invaded Island. As there's nothing there, no one in Prussia cares.

1939.11.17 0100
Wilna, Prussia

Several weeks before, the tension between Soviet Union and Finland increase, as Finland refuse to cede lands to Soviet Union. At that time, Prussian spies in Moscow and Leningrad reported to Königsberg that Soviets are ready to take those Finnish lands, and if everything goes right, they will take those baltic states as well. That means Soviet Union will be able to stab a knief deep into Prussia's heart, and it is unacceptable. To prevent that, OKR planned the Fall Schwertbrüderorden : If Soviet Union declared war upon Finland, Prussia will immediately invade Latvia-Estonia Alliance to block Soviets from moving into baltic states.

November 17, after another negotiation failed, Iosef Stalin said to his Generals, "What those Finns don't give, we'll take!" And in less than 3 hours, the Red Army started to invade Finland.

Fin00.png

After this news was sent to Prussia, Prussian Navy, with all its transporter, were send to the gulf to Riga, while Prussian Army deployed at Wilna started to move.

At dawn, while several citizens find that some foreign ships was sailing near Tallinn, Prussia declared war upon Estonia. Those 'strange ships' started to bombard Estonian military bases near Tallinn, and transporters were heading to the port.

In the same time Prussian Army are also in action : all Latvian border outpost were crushed by the Panzer-Division, while thousands of soldiers marching into those lands. As they believe they're liberating those oppressed proletarian in eastern baltic, they marched through the border, and singing Internationale with German, Latvian and Estonia.

Est.png

Estonian Defence was steamrolled fastly, and socialists in Tallinn celebrated the liberation of Riga. After the Prussian-Estonian joint socialist forces controlled most parts of Tallinn, Kaarel Eenpalu the Prime Minister of Estonia announce the unconditional surrender to Prussia, and all remaining Estonian Army was taken by Latvia.

Lat00.png

4 days later, after Prussian Panzers started to raid the Latvian garrisons outside Riga, the Lativan government tried to sue for peace by ceding most of the lands to Prussia. But as total victory is in Marshall Adler's hand, she refused this deal, and started the final assault against Riga.

Lat01.png

Next day, after the Prussian Army defected Latvian Army, Riga surrendered to Prussia, and Prussia annexed Latvia.

Fall Merkur - Invasion of Norway

"Sometimes it's necessary to be evil to prevent the success of greater evil." - Unknown

1940.01.01

It's the forth month since the Second World War begun. After German's (not so) successful campaign against Poland, she turned to Frace, but the heavily fortfied Maginot Line stopped Wehrmacht's Panzer Army, and the western front was frozen. After the information that suggest Normay might join Allies later, Germany decided to have Norway sooner than the Allies.

Because of the 'Dietrich Doctrine' which saves countries from Fascists by annexing them before the Fascists do so, OKR planned a temporary warplan to invade Norway. Although Norway doesn't have much garrison, its frozen mountains will still be an danger enemy, esspecially if the Allies managed to send forces to there. However, without any information about German's plan to invade Norway, Sarah Dietrich thinks there is no more time to wait for Spring. This plan was named 'Fall Merkur', as it's planned in a very short time.('Merkur' means 'Mercury' in German, which is the name of a Roman god with very fast speed.)

January 3, without enough preparations, Prussia declared war upon Norway. Then 6 infantry division landed on Kristiansand and started to encircle Oslo. 3 days later, with a successful assault against Hamar, Reichswehr began the siege of Oslo. Although the situation of Reichswehr is terrible, garrisons in Oslo were destroyed because they're outnumbered.

Nor01.png

January 19, the government of Norway offers peace to Prussia, but was declined. As the situation going worse, OKR decided to trap Norwegian army at Bergen. But a fail assault at Ålesund means an encircle in Bergen is impossible. After that, the advance HQ at Oslo planned another plan : capture Narvik with a surprise attack.

Nor02.png

However, the terrain of Norway makes a fast assault towards north impossible. After an month, with all Norwegian army surrendered at Ålesund, Navy's transporter arrived and controlled Narvik.

Nor03.png

On March 3, Kingdom of Norway surrendered to Prussia, ending this plan in a 'mediocre' result.

Nor05.png

Realising the Reichswehr is not really prepared for way, the government gathered several engineers, industralists and scientists to find out a way to utalise the industry bases of Prussia. About an month later, a way was finally developed, and successfully increase the industrial bases of Suwalki. It also provide more men for building the army.

Europe after Fall Merkur. Note that Belelux joined the Allies when Germany declared war upon them.

Next : Domino effect

Note : As I'm quite noob in both HoI2 and writing AAR, any comments and suggestions would be welcome. :D
(And yet the game is in 1946, so suggestions about what shall Prussia do might not be used :eek:o )

I see a Baltic state which doesn't belong to you, yet...

Time to go after Sweden, perhaps?

Thanks for your support :D

>Rodrico Stak
Old Prussia only got those places IIRC, Brandenburg isn't Prussian lands until 1618, when a person union named Brandenburg-Preußen was formed. :D

>Kurt_Steiner
Because cutting off Soviet road to baltic is more important :)
Also, Latauen have more soldiers than I think(8 division IIRC), so an encircle will be more effective? :)

Update will be in 12 hours.(If nothing goes wrong)

Thanks :D

Domino effect

Vichy.png

The Allies in western Europe looks like a pile of Domino, and they falls like Dominos too. After Germany annex Luxemburg and take the whole Belelux, the deadiest flaw of Maginot Line was found - too short. German armed forces steamrolled through the undefended Belgium-France border, and quickly took Paris. General Pétain, the hero of the First World War, surrendered to Germany, and become the President of the new puppet regime. After that, French invented a new cursing word - pétainisme(Pétainism).

Fin01.png

After 7 months of battle, Soviet Union, with her troops stuck inside Finnish lands, sues peace with Finland. Finland ceded the lands within Leningrad's 25km radius. Also, after the convoies at Denmark and Norway were bombed by Allies bombers, to protect those convies filled with importance resources, OKR decided to create air force.

Spr00.png

Spain, found herself was in danger of being attacked by Germany, joined Allies. However, this might be an express ticket to doom.

Lit01.png

After Riga was liberated, Lithuania bacome the last Fascist baltic state. After the effect of Fall Merkur, OKR deployed all Prussian forces to the border, and prepared to liberate those oppesed people in Lithuania. On June 2, a mysterious explosion in Wilna military base, was claimed to be a sabotage by Lithuania. War was soon declared, and Kaunas fell shortly after.

Lit02.png

In the same time, other sides of Prussian forces started to cross the border. A desprate assault in Prussian Alytus was failed, and Kaunas was encircled.

Lit03.png

3 days later, a riot in Kaunas forced the government to surrender to Prussia, and end the siege. Now, all baltic nations were merged into one.
