Graudenz, Prussia
After German forces started to invade Poland, Warsaw ordered every troops to deploy to the Polish Corridor to defend their homeland. That makes all Polish garrison at the Prussian-Polish border left, thus provide an excellent situation to the Prussian Army, as no one in Poland know anything about their plan to invade Poland, and the weak defence of the border won't even be able to delay them.
One hour before, VII. Armeekorp of the Westen Heeresgruppe steamrolled into the Polish town of Grudziądz, making this place into the first battleground of this war. Although the Polish garrison fight bravely against the invaders, they are absoulutely outnumbered and are crushed. 23 Polish troops were killed, and 13 were captured and become the first Polish POW. After other Armeekorps arrived here, this place become the HQ of the W. HGr, before they take Thorn.
Inside a Granary, generals of W. HGr was having a meeting about the progress of the Operation.
"So, what's the progress now? General Haber?"
"A telegram from the HQ of O. HGr(Osten Heeresgruppe) said that we've controlled the city of Sudauen, and the blitzkorps had captured all lands east to the Weichsel river."
"Very well, then how about our progress?"
"The frontier unit have started to assault Kulm, and I think we can take Thorn in......about 3 days."
"Nice, then any data collected from the last battle?"
"Yes, we captured several Polish soldier, but no useful information. They are outnumbered, and their equipments are old. That means our victory above them is not a surprise at all."
"Send those POW to Elbing, we'll deal with them later......"
"General! News from the frontline!" Suddenly, a soldier rushed in with a telegram paper, "Kulm just surrendered to us!"
"And another telegram from OKR ordered us to advanced to Thorn now, as the first defence line of Allied forces is broken." The soldier continued.
"Send a telegram to them, tell them we're on the way."
"Yes, ma'am!"
"And this meeting is over, dismiss and start marching to Thorn!"
3 days later, the civilian defence of Thorn surrendered to Prussia, and most lands which was ceded to Poland was reclaimed. Also, as Poland abandoned Bromberg, the blitzkorps, who took Danzig earlier, raided Bromberg before the Germans, and hoist the Prussian Flag above the city.
Hours later, OKR ordered the W. HGr to take Lodsch and Radom, to block Germany from Warschau.
