My experience with the demo so far

Yesterday, I signed up for Steam and downloaded the EUIV demo. It's a fun game, but there's a few bugs-

When exiting scenarios or going to the menu, there's a crash.

This morning, it said the game was loaded as a mod and achievements were disabled. The thing? I wasn't using a mod
I haven't modified any of the files, either. Does it count that I was looking through the music?

Other than that, this was a fun and impossibly difficult when the Turks want you demo.

i think the demo is stuck in a certain game state and thus it's checksum differs from the official version, and thus registres as a mod.

That said, you shouldn't really expect to be able to earn achievements with a demo anyway.
