One of my species, if you're still interested. I'm having a lot of fun with these guys, roleplaying a more "open" and tolerant form of spirituality than the usual religious zealots.
I always enable free thought at the start of the game, of course.

The "Conclave" of the Empire's name refers to the Council of Philosophers ruling over the nation.
The Conclave's Symbol is supposed to show the search for truth and meaning, being approached in countless different ways.

Every Illyrite's life is regarded as a journey to find truth and meaning, and while there are many strong philosophical schools, said journey is, at its core, an individualistic one - everybody has to find their own truth in their own way. The Conclave of Great Illyris is ruled by a Council of Philosophers representing the most influential schools of thought, but also many respected independent thinkers. After all, in the words of the Great Orin'dor - Always trust the lone critic above the like-minded. To other species, Illyrites seem unusually calm and collected; this and their naturally dignified demeanour makes them respected diplomats."

These guys are actually based off a universe from a little short story I had planned to write, which I later used in an RP with a friend, being the main antagonists against the "good guys" that were the British. (I mean, the Brits were still imperialistic, and most certainly elitist pricks, but at least they wouldn't enslave you, and they certainly wouldn't eat you! Needless to say as the only other power encountered with the military might to stand against the Shal'lek most species found themselves routing for Britannia as their light in the dark.)

Hello, I send you a greeting from Uruguay! I just found this forum, in particular this debate that you were having here. I love the idea of creating races, planets, with their own characteristics such as technology, government and culture. But I can not understand what they are talking about. Is it a videogame that is in full development? Is it one that already exists? What is the name of all this?
Reading the templates of the races that have been posting here have inspired me and with that I already have a couple of interesting ideas that I would like to create and share, what steps should I follow? Should I download / install something? Or is it all through a web page? Thanks for any help!

Thanks, but then how should I do? And please ... Can anyone explain to me what is stellaris? How to start playing it? Is it through a web page or is it an affordable or downloadable video game?

If you click the "paradox store" link at the top of the page you can buy it. It's on sale in the US for 16 dollars for the base game (none of the expansion DLCs included) right now, I don't know what you'd pay in Uruguay or if the sale is even active there. I'd suggest searching "Stellaris 2.2" on youtube and watching some videos to see if you're really interested.
