My Documents Folder Empty

After installing the Old Gods, the game didn't open. So, I decided to do a clean re-install. But, when I tried that, the My Documents folder for the game stayed empty. Any hints?

It doesn't get created until you run the game for the first time.

Ah, well I should also clarify that the larger issue is that the game won't start.

Is this from Steam or GG? On a PC, Mac or Linux?

Have you tried manually running the Launcher? the game .exe/.app itself? Any errors or messages?

It's on Steam PC, and and manually starting ck2game.exe works fine, just without the DLC. And when I start it from Steam, I get just a generic "Ck2game.exe has stopped working" error

OK, what about ck2.exe , by itself or from the launcher?
