Can someone explain how the "Doctrines" work ? After I "prime" them they are going on the right side of the screen under "Active" but the doctrine UI is still saying 0/1. Am I missing something ? (e.g., "The Emissary" doctrine").
yeah that is easy to misunderstand what is shown there is not the number of active doctrines but the number of available doctrine slots still available - 0/1 means no more free doctrine slot of 1 total doctrine slot. Before you prime (e.g. the emissary doctrine) it said 1/1. basically whenever the first number is > 0 you probably should think about priming a doctrine soon.
Thanks for the replies but I still don't understand it completely. I guess the only important thing that I get is that if it's more than 0 is bad and I'm wasting a slot or something.Yep, that whole operations section is basically, "Points of X resource left to spend this turn/Points of X resource you got this turn."
Doctrines are technically operations, so they fall into that format, even though they should probably read differently because they feel different. But, if you get mixed up again, just remember to read it like strategic/covert ops points or tac ops points.
