I can definitely understand the concerns here and it's something we will be working to keep on top of. I generate monthly reports to the development team on Stellaris with regards to feedback, general sentiment, and the hot topics of discussion within the community. This will be the same for Stellaris Console.

While the development team are not based within our offices, we obviously have direct points of very regular contact. There is a feedback loop so that we can ensure the concerns of Stellaris console players are heard and will be giving information back where I can.

I for one hope that the console edition won't interfere.
Honestly, I am happy (and prefer it) when devs simply stay away from consoles.
All porting to consoles really does is A: bring down the main PC version to console standards or B: results in console players whining because of lack of updates/content that the PC version has.
That is why I am happy to see that Paradox is handing console Stellaris off to another developer.
I just hope that developer also handles the community and suggestions/reports so that Paradox can continue focusing on PC version without having to drag the console version behind, hogging up development time and resources.

Well Tantalus have been working on development for Stellaris Console since the start of the project and will continue to do so which means there is no resource conflict. Only myself, the Game Directors/Project Leads at Paradox who are involved in the project will be liaising with Tantalus regarding community feedback and suggestions - which won't affect the development of the PC version. You said yourself that you're happy it's another developer, so that's already answered :)
