I would recommend using Can You RUN It if you are unsure of compatibility and don't want to deal with downloading the demo to test. It is a Java based program which tests your computer against the games spec's.

I manualy lowered all graphics settings and the resolution to 1024 x 768 and the demo still does not work. It always crashes when the loading process is completed. I can play CK 2 and March of the Eagles perfectly (resolution 1280x1024). CK2 has the same official requirements as the EU IV. I´m posting my diaxdiag and settings.txt along with the screenshot of the error message (It´s in Czech but you certainly know this error message).

The same situation here.

Spec is fine, driver is up to date, but it always crashes to desktop after loading process. I try to Lower setting and still not work.
I can run CK2, VIC2, EU3, HOI3, and all other paradox games without any problem. It's really frustrating.

I tried almost everything but it still crashes after loading screens. My graphics memory should be an issue but as I previously stated - I can run CK 2 and MotE on higher resolution with no crashes while these games required 512 graphics card as well. My driver date is February 2010 (latest available ,,legacy,, driver by AMD) and it is not that old. As far as I know the EUIV uses the same engine like March of the Eagles. My XP 32 bit should be a problem too. No idea what to do next ...

Sadly, you can't say that your graphics memory SHOULD be fine, it doesn't work that way, even if you can run something else below spec. Though you could check if your graphics memory maxes out, just to make sure. But you might be facing a situation where you'll need a computer upgrade.
