All true, but if I recall correctly, the devs once said that there will be no customizable revolutionary flags.
OP could put their own flag in the game by making sure the image is a .tag file and naming it after the country tag, SAX in this case. I don't think it alters the checksum (I could be wrong on that). Of course this would only replace the normal flag, however, not the revolutionary one...

Bit of a shame you can't customise the Revolutionary flag though. And to be honest I don't see why they should all be tricolours, because in a theoretical Saxon revolution why would they necessarily adopt the same type of flag as the French Revolutionaries?

By the way, an obscure tag Malta (JAI) didn't have generic Italian missions.
I wonder why. I also don't understand why Coburg doesn't have the Franconian missions, I thought they would be automatically available if you had the culture as your primary one. Malta used to be the Jalayirids...

This cannot stand!

Maybe Coburg simply got overlooked during the development, and this tag doesn't seem to be popular (at least I've never heard anyone addressing the issue before). Seeing how Thuringia controls Coburg by Y'1444, it's easy not to notice that. Anyway, I've posted a bug report.

Guess the same goes for Malta - although I don't know at which point Jaylarids became Malta (who are the Jaylarids, anyway?). Maybe it was even before Generic Italian Missions were introduced with the "Emperor". I doubt that the "local specific " of Malta was taken into consideration.

Oh it was ages ago, Jalayirids were removed in 1.13. They were a leftover from EU3's earlier start date and they were really rare anyway due to the requirements for their cores to spawn. Malta uses their tag now. Historically the Jalayirids were one of the successor states after the Ilkhanate collapsed and they were eventually wiped out by Timurids and QQ in 1432 (although by that logic they should still have cores in EU4 since it is less than 50 years before the start date).

I don't think it is because it was only added fairly recently and you would be unlikely to know it exists just from looking at the starting screen, plus if you want to play a Franconian country there are easier options with better ideas as Coburg only has generic German ideas, the other Franconians all have their own unique ideas.

I see that Dresden is your capital. Did you move it there manually or did you actually made an event for that?
I made a decision for it. For 25 ducats and 50 adm power the capital is changed to Dresden, +1 base tax, production, manpower each in Dresden plus 10 prestige.

Should they have it though? I associate Coburg with Saxony/Thuringia and it became part of Bavaria only in 1920

I think they should. Being Franconian, Coburg would aspire to carve its own path, rather being somebody's servant. And yes, they are the only Franconian minor without relative missions.

Interesting, didn't know that, thank you!
It seems a bit similar to good ole Free Imperial City of Ravensbourg (RVA) which was turned into Free Imperial City of Dortmund in "Emperor".

Maybe you should also upgrade the local CoT to 2nd level for decision to become available? Or develop it to the total level of 15?

I also heard Florence had the old Lancaster tag (LAN). Konstanz is in roughly the same place to 'replace' Ravensburg as a free city, no such replacement for the poor Jalayirids sadly. I played a game with Ravensburg before they were gone. I wish Konstanz kept their tag and colour rather than Dortmund, it was a nice gray-blue, and I like Konstanz better than Dortmund otherwise.
