Was playing my Swabia game last night, over a hundred thousand dead for one province, was it really worth it? Just so I could add it to my already large and rich country and culture convert?
I want to make a positive difference to the world within EU4 for a change.
Of course I'll probably go straight back to my old ways in a few days because it is good to take out my frustration on AI France and Commonwealth

Wouldn't make sense otherwise. Besides, absolutism are only useful for building huge empires anyway and those are by nature oppressive so I presume you have no intention to do so in any case.
I do wonder, should reforms such as 'strengthen executive power' not be incompatible with the peasants republic reform?
Yes, my plan is to unite all Saxons (Lower Saxon, Westphalian and Saxon cultures), then play tall, few liberation wars perhaps, potentially free people in Britain... I'm hoping to take advantage of the change government CB during the Great Peasants War disaster to create fellow peasant republics throughout the HRE.

You can still release Coburg as a vassal - its cores shouldn't expire yet.
I always liked to form Franconia from a vassal or some Franconian minor after it was introduced in "Emperor" DLC.

Coburg must be one of the 'cutest' nations in EU4. It is tiny, has a cute name, bright green colour and non-threatening flag.
And, ironically, it doesn't have any Franconian missions upon release. Or was it fixed?

OP, will you be going revolutionary? Not a very communist flag with that big crown over it.
The same goes for white-green-white tricolor for Revolutionary Saxony.
That's not perfect but surely better than something with a crown on it? Of course, there is the fun of designing your own flag, and this is a perfect opportunity to do so.
