BUR: remove all provinces from extra, remove line no = HOL, expiry date to 30 Feb 1562, use default.ai (the only ties between Burgundy proper and their other possessions was the rule of the house of Valois which vanishes once Burgundy is conquered. This change then removes the link with the low countries so it can be treated as an ordinary French minor)
GRA: add province 438 (Murcia) to extra (the other initially Sunni province in Spain)
CAL: delete (the Kaliphate existing in 1419 is bad enough, but as a (latin tech) revolter? Please!)
MAG: add a latin tech revolter with province 311 (Magdeburg) as the minimum
FEZ: add a muslim tech revolter with province 733 (Fez) as the minimum and province 732 (Tangiers) as the extra

I don't know if this still the case, but adding a lot of provinces to minimum can affect the chances of the country actually emerging.

No. That is changed. The only use the minimum option have now is that it defines the provinces given to a vassal (hence the change for Norway - if Denmark would release Norway they certainly wouldn't keep the northern provinces). It also affects the chance of defection to certain countries.

Also at least one of the minimum provinces needs to be in revolt (and be the one that has been in revolt long enough?) for the country to appear. So adding provinces to the minimum does change the odds of the country appearing, just in the opposite direction from how it used to.

Since my last post I have added the following 1 province German revolters: MAI in 346, MUN in 334, OLD in 335, WUR in 372 and SLZ in 350. All apart from WUR use peaceful.ai

That's great. I've been going through the AI files, trying to remember all the changes I made after your suggestions ... maybe all your modified revolt/AI files could be included in EEP distributions?

And of course, the England AI should include England and the Puritans as targets for conquest, if both sides in the civil war are going to end up using the same file.
