My bishops hate me :(

Hi, My bishops are paying all tax to the pope.. I am low on cash so can't afford to give out loads of gifts. Whay can I do to get them paying tax?

Bishops are tricky. If your character has too many deadly sins and bad traits then its almost impossible unless they hate the pope for his traits. You can try giving them honorary titles, if you got free investure you can appoint bishops and those will usually like you a lot. Otherwise you can always make an antipope, which is dangerous.

Revoke their titles , place new bishops and hope they will like you more than pope.Slower way would be to put your Chaplain to improve religious relations on the Countys with those bishops.

If you revoke thier titles then your other vassals will dislike you. Not an option.
