Something is really starting to bother in this game and it's the music. Every time I start this game up it's the same music over and over. I tried to fiddle with the music player. But I end up getting the same moody atmosphere every time. It's really annoying that there are no radio stations. There are other music genres that would much very well with this game. That would not make every time you boot up a new game feel so repetitive.

I tried to watch the Xbox comparison video and had to stop it because the music was really annoying.I heard that track like thousands time by now and I can tell you it will never be a hit. ;)

I disagree, I find the music fades into the background like it is supposed to.

Regarding music stations, you can turn the music off and play something you think fits better on a speakeruntil they add them.

The music is horrible. I can remember only 2 other games that make me feel sick and made me quit them just because the soundtrack didn't suit the game all to well. Those were racing games. Never had this with strategy / manager games. There should be some alternative soundtrack. The soundtrack makes the game unplayable for me. I'm playing Planet coaster at the moment and they know how to add repetitive music to a strategy manger game. Totally different game, totally different sound but it's much harder to make such silly music that stays fresh. Stellaris is situated in space so it can have so much different styles of repetitive music.

It's a shame because good sound design is also part what makes a good game. Stellaris has very good gameplay but poor sound design tbh

I agree it should probably have an alternative soundtrack or radio stations, for now if it is just certain songs you don't like, you can turn them off.

I'm playing the game again and I was greeted with a remix of one of the songs and the game felt really fresh. The vibe was really good and hoped the entire soundtrack was remixed. But then the old soundtrack started to play again. How much new tracks are there? and how do I regofnize new songs in the music player? I want to turn off the old songs.

Although I quite like the OST I often use Background Music Player - BMP, it is inexpensive and works really well, I have folders on a USB stick for different game types and it really makes a difference as my space ambient tracks have a playtime of just over eight hours.

@Soborki This game's music was the first thing that grab my attention when I first saw it's videos and streams ! the only bad thing is they are so few (which ultimately makes them repetitive). Imo this game's musics are very fantastic and fits the mood very well but I hope the devs make more for it as they are so few in numbers
