I am flummoxed. I'm playing as Mewar in the 1.33 beta. My ally Vijayanagar declared a conquest war on the Maldives in the 1440s, and is still at war with them in 1495:

Vijayanagar may have attempted a naval invasion near the beginning, but certainly hasn't for decades as I've been watching more closely. There's been one battle, probably a small naval battle. I can imagine what is happening - Maldives controls the war goal, but Vijayanagar is blockading, so the war score is 2. Maldives has a ton of WE but won't (obviously) accept being annexed, but Vijayanagar doesn't have enough reason to accept a white peace because it has no WE and full army strength, etc.

Is this a bug? If it is, what specifically is the bug? Is it related to the beta? Do you think it's related to the bug that I saw reported where some allies camp their armies out at the border? Regardless, if I'm continuing this game what should I do? Note that I'm doing well as Mewar but am surrounded by enemies, including a very big Timurids, whom I'm being very careful to keep out of a coalition with truces.

I fear yes...

Btw I don't full get what's the problem for OP. Is your allied not accepting your call of arms because this war?

Also there was one battle of some sort, as you can see in the war score tooltip.

It's not a big problem - they won't answer call to arms, as they keep racking up more debt due to keeping forts and armies at full strength (plus the existing malus for already being at war), but as I said I'm doing okay juggling my neighbors. I also know I can get them out of the trap by annexing Maldives myself, but I haven't wanted to do a no-CB just for this. It was more utter confusion and wondering if anyone had seen this before.
