Hi!

Im 60 hours in, I'm playing my second run as a count in the HRE. I'm quite new at this complex game, my first runt was as a viking king where I mostly just raided England. There is a lot of game mechanics i don't understand and my 12 year prisoner became my king and i will only get 250 dukats to ransom him so I figure there must be something better I can do in my situation. Like taking his kingdom.

Here is the story.
So basically my lige assassinated me, my daughter (who I now play as) inherit my 3 holdings. My lige then imprisoned my mother, held here in prisson for my adolescence then stabed her eyes out and released her. I became 16, went for seduction. Seduced my lige and assassinated him, one of his 4 children become my lige. I start a revolt to get the duchy, seduces my lige steward, got 180% in plot power. Assassinated the 14 and 13 year old, the 10 year old became my lige, I won the war. The 10 year old is now my prisoner.

Two years and a holy war pass and my king dies and my now 12 year old prisoner is my king. He has a younger sister that will inherit the kingdom if the he dies.

What can I do to get the kingdom? Its a ironman run so I can't experiment.

Kill your husband or imprison him then throw him in the oubliette (if you have set the game rule to not release after torture then do that first, he wont last a week before dying in the dark of his wounds). If you can't or don't want to kill him then try to arrange a divorce via your relevant religious head, you may have to gain some piety or spend some gold first.

If all else fails then you could simply keep the King in your dungeon for as long as you please, he is not likely to act against you while you hold him !
