Seriously, holy crap. I'm surprised the Bitter Peace hasn't triggered yet, but I suppose the Axis absolutely must capture Leningrad (probably won't be long now with the city completely surrounded and only port infrastructure capable of bringing supplies in.

I suspect Germany got really lucky on encirclement early on, and the easing of pressure on the front just allowed them to bulldoze the U.S.S.R.'s industrial centers, leaving them unable to make sufficient commercial goods/supplies to keep up with their troop numbers. That's about the only way I could imagine them performing this well.

I think Italy needs to stop deluding itself and ally with Germany now. It's pretty clear that whatever Gaulish/Magna Germanian ambitions they have are pretty well dead now.

There no B.P event, beacuse Leningrand and Lapland still under soviet control.I dont know why german AI always ignore those areas

From the DH memes thread:

How could you attack Germany if you are barely fighting the Allies, Jodel ?!

Join the Axis as soon as possible !

Im afraid that joining the Axis is too late now, it would look like Italy is scared of Germany and tries to cover her back, loss of prestige would be too great.

This is true. Besides, it's not like Germany would have reason to invade Italy. Italy's a reasonably friendly, fascist power that's not strong enough to threaten Germany's dominant position (from Germany's perspective).

Ooooh yes.

Like I said, their armies are all in Siberia and it will take them months to get back. If he attacks now, with all his armies, he can fatally surprise Hitler, and march into Berlin six weeks from now!
;)

Besides, half the world is already fighting him under the banners of the Allies, and Germany won't be friendly to him after they finish conquering the other half. It's not like he has much to lose, at this point. Germany might not turn on him (this is only DH after all, where the AI is not really very dynamic) but at this point he can only win his own war if Germany beats the Allies for him. If they do that, they're also going to steal all his precious targets in the mediterranean anyways, so why dither...

Not Funny!

When Japan declared war on the United States, I actually thought that could be good for you. If they already have Chinese puppets, maybe they'll get to India and rough the British up. Then the Soviet... whatever the heck that was. Now the bad news is the Allied AI will probably continue to pour millions of troops into Egpyt while Germany attacks & takes India too.

But look on the bright side! You could be facing an epic long game. IF you can somehow close the Mediterranean (hey, Turkey's making advances in Iraq), you might be able to watch the USA, allies & mega-Germany duke it out to the point where they're nuking each other to hell and back. Then decide how best to take advantage of the situation. (Take Greece, Spain, make peace with the Allies and cement your place in the new world order by backstabbing Germany after its industrial centers are a-glow?)

As for the stalemate in Egypt... have you considered letting the allies run rampant over Libya, moving all your troops into Palestine, swarming the Sinai, invading Saudi Arabia (just Medina, until you deal with the allies), sending your massed fleet all the way around Africa to Medina, then using the Red Sea (Eliat for moving troops, Medina for naval/air bases) as a conduit to pour troops behind enemy lines into Egypt? With the air field in Medina (or one you put in Sharm el Sheikh), you ought to be able to take Luxor or El Gardaqah or maybe even Port Sudan with paratroopers, securing a port. (Note: the massed battle fleet isn't just to escort transports. It's to really put the hammer down crushing convoys in the Red Sea to give the Brits supply problems even before you drive north - the main reason you should send pretty much everything that floats. Before invading Saudi Arabia you might even consider starting any convoy raiding techs you've been slacking off on. Naval bombers & subs would not be enough.)

If it actually worked, you could trap most of the British army in a giant, North-Africa sized pocket. The hard part might be drawing most of the British across Libya with a large enough force to sucker them in, without taking too many casualties. And stopping them from breaking through to the Atlantic through Morocco, assuming they're hostile to Vichy France.

The plan might also be problematic if the convoy system won't let you send supplies out of Gibraltar & around Africa rather than trying to route through the Suez. And of course even if you can work that convoy system, you'll take horrendous convoy losses from enemy interdiction until you can secure northern Egypt. But I still think it the plan's worth considering.

Edit: Also, if you retain Tunisia & the Libyan desert, you might be able to secure a supply line through Al Jawf-Dunqula or Al Jawf-El Qasr (backup plan in case the convoy system won't let you supply divisions invading across the Red Sea). I know you can't move actual men that way, but if my experience playing Japan in Kaiserreich has taught me anything, it's that the Russians can move supplies through Norilsk even when you cut off Yakutia from redeployment/reinforcement divisions by taking Krasnoyarsk, so a Saharan supply chain might work for you in a pinch. At least give you a few months of fighting to take Port Said from the south while the Allies rampage west.

Another sticking point might be retaining enough transports in the Mediterranean to evacuate Tunisia when the going gets rough while also having a sizable Red Sea shuttle service. If you can move units into Algeria, however, that shouldn't be a concern.

Edit 2: Note that you might need to take Faya to prevent the British from creating their own Saharan supply line. I probably wouldn't try to hold Sabha to prevent the British from linking up with Faya, but would prepare to send a strong motorized force to take Faya from the Free French (El Kharga -> Dunqula -> Nayala -> Faya). I admit that especially if you need to take Faya, the plan's a hail mary. But you gotta admit, it would be cool! Go big or die trying kind of a deal...

German troops, not bothering to finish off the remains of the Red Army in Siberia, have turned south, advancing trough Caucasus towards the Middle-East.
This will surely end the stalemate, as the allies move their units to counter the german advance.
What about Soviet Union? Leningrad still stands, can the Red Army gather itself and grab victory from the jaws of certain defeat?
This is so exciting!

Germany has been sloppy in dealing with the partisans, resistance movements are gaining support across Axis occupied Europe.
Thank god we dont have these problems in the Balkans.

German supply lines have been streched beyond its limits, Soviet Union is in full rebellion and allied units have reconquered Syria, starting to move towards Turkey.
This is not the end, this is not even the beginning of the end. But this is, perhaps end of the beginning...

With the uprisings continuing in France and Soviet Russia, the allies have landed on Brittany.
Winston Curchill spoke triumphantly on the british radio, and Charles De Gaulle declared: Nous sommes de retour, vive la France!
These news come with a relief for the italian High command, maybe they will take troops from Africa for the so called "liberation" of Europe.

The Commonwealth forces spearhead the invasion of Europe.

This has truly been a long war, maybe instead of being "the war to end all wars", this is "the war that never ends"?

This does not even include civilian casualties..
