Just wondering about this one myself, as in an Ayutthaya game I had conquered the Malay peninsula from Malacca and was busily turning it Buddhist. Do Muslims have conversion resistance to just Christianity or all other religions as well?

conversion resistance ? Never heard of this.
You get a bonus if a Pagan nation is involved but I did not know you got a penalty for some. Please explain.

IIRC, any nation that is not considered a home province or has a different culture will have a low % chance of conversion.

That one I know, again a bonus and not related to a specific religion.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as conversion resistance. There are only a few factors that affect the chance of conversion (via missionary. Events and colonists do not follow these rules)

Culture of state vs. Culture of province
population of province
Whether or not province is pagan.

Population is also the primary factor in the cost of a missionary.

Other than that, there are no other factors that I am aware of.
The only correction to this is that the Pagan bonus works both ways. So if it is a pagan doing the converting they get the bonus as well. Or if you are converting the pagan province you get a bonus to succeed.

Indeed. Converting nations as a pagan is quite easy. This is one of paganisms major benefits (along with the incredible sliders)
I think you mean converting provinces as a pagan :)

The best benefit is what happens after you convert your new province, NO nationalism!

Well, its all in all quite logical. Why pray to some moronic god that sends you to hell if you dont do this and that, when you could worship the stone in your backyard.

And what is it going to do for you?
I know, I know, Ask not what it can do for you but what you can do for it, Doh! Wrong speach! :D
