I am not sure what the effects of the rebellious trait should be, but in my game, the muslim sheik of Lorraine, a vassal of the king of the Seljuks got that trait, but it didn't change anything.

The Seljuks have conquered almost all of the duchies of Upper-Lorraine, Switzerland and Savoye. After almost 60 years, none of the vassals that they have created there has yet broken away.

Could you post a picture of the King too? It can be possible the other traits help, at least that happens to AI with excommunication sometimes, it's less hard than for the player.

No, I don't made one of the king. But it should still show an effect of the rebellious trait.

The effects could be counterbalanced with a good diplomacy rating f.e., but you still should something in the breakdown of the loyalt.

Of course, but I had vassals getting +5% loyalty per month with a excommunicated King.

This does work for muslims -- no better or worse than it does for christians. The Fatimids are usually broken up by the rebelliousness/realm duress, and I also have seen the Seljuks disintegrate into petty muslim realms.

Sorry, I forgot, rebelliousness is trait and so is listed under trait-effects. I thought it showed as a different factor.

My mistake.

But for a rebellious guy, he is pretty loyal :)

No veld is on to something. Ive murdured trillions of seljuk kings, and got them the crappiest of rulers (1,2,3,4) he was only 0, he was crazed and diseased. Not a SINGLE vassal was below 99% loyalty. One had rebelliousness....but nothing. Not a single beydom left either. The turks are on freakin crack or something!

No. As far as I have seen they play to exactly the same rules as the christian AI. And if you have seen a realm duress, excommunicated, kinslayer 0/0/0/0 German King being stable that is nothing worse. It also depends on the other traits, like if the King of the Seljuks is just, coward and the other traits he has too he will get loyalty because of them, maybe even more than realm duress can ever make harm.
