Muslimiyya
Jibal was the center for the Muslimiyya from the inception of Islam in the region. This are was the staging ground of several rebellions. They contrasted against the khurramiyya in that they did consider themselves muslims instead of zoroastrians though they were heavily blended with other things.

- Communal Identity
- Unrelenting faith
Holy sites:
- Baghdad (Death of Abu Muslim)
- Isfahan (Source of rebellion)
- Rayy (Source of rebellion)
- Mecca
- Medina
Succesion: Zandaqa
Head of Religion: Temporal
Requirement: Control three holy sites, cannot be arab culture
